The worst of the offenses happen at the end
Within the sight of dawn
On the flying heels of evaporating night

As the horrors mount highest the outcry crests
A din of tears monsoon'd
To make a lahar of the heaped victim collections

The shift from silently suffered unjust pain
To a vicious honest stand
Always later than it should have been but deserved
