look at you, look at me
exactly how we're supposed to be
curled tightly into your chest
knowing your affection is the best
The only friend I've ever known
brothers forever, tpgether grown
conent and peaceful, here by your side
why should I run and hide?
been my best mate all my life
can't really remember any strife
I hope you know
that i'd hate it if you go,
that you keep the nightmares at bay
and my world will shatter when you are away
I've cleaned yoour wounds and mended your heart
when she went and tore you apart
I'll miss you when you're at war
but I'll update you on our favourite car
I'll miss you when you're married
and this of the oath we both carried
to never grow up, no kids, no girls, friends thick as bone
now i;m proud of the two kids of your own
i'm gonna miss you most when you're old and grey
we're remenissing of the day
when girls had cooties, mommies knew it all
we ran to and obeyed dad's call
when the world was right
and colours shown bright
you'll always be brother to me
even when your body finally sets you free
