All of the evening's glory,
Wrapped in an ancient story.
Toward the distance,
In the fire,
The scent of mystery,
Rising higher,
Mindless of the fear,
All the days of the coming year.
Once again the rain,
Driving-
Pounding out the pain.
Toward the distance,
In the quiet,
The sound of sadness in the riot.
All of the morning's story,
Wrapped in the evening's glory.

Very good

I liked the random rhyme scheme and the repetition here. Very nice.
