When we are done, what traces will we leave
upon our hearts and bodies? Let each mind
create connections, simply to exceed
the pace of time. If passion is inclined
to rush around our thoughts, words are withheld
from one another, since we cannot speak:
our mouths won't break a kiss, as our lips meld
into a single unity to wreak
sweet havoc. While we drift here so content,
limbs wrapped together, you will entertain
my need within you, for I won't relent
until you cry out, loving, once again,
this dream of us that has barely begun:
What traces will we leave when we are done?
