it's all
been said better before
now but
that's only because lately
it seems there's
a lion's share of
nothing lamb left
lingering long enough to trip
over the trying
not to talk about it as if
i know
all
twelve times two and twenty
times my time's my own
to own
my feelings
which shimmer and fade
away
from reflected failture
not even a narcissus
self-reflexive staring into
this criss of a
cross over
worry laugh holiday
lines of inquiry all
hell is really is
crystallizing suspension
of linear self
loathing

all image
no wonder the mage
i wanders to the
second first starting
block of frank incensed
temptation to think
simple rhymes
not mine or
shaft like the pen held
lies fed my blood
grow wafer thin body tapped
water toasting
into wine.

Vague reflections

I love this type of poetry.. lacing riddles of self and mirrors of truth exposing realms of all who read it. Vagueness is my thing lol.. and although I see some spelling errors that may not be errors.. I rode this poem to see the smoking mirror of self.. I love when another poet speaks and I hear.. a grand lesson is living.. good work

I love word play. . .

. . . and this poem is full of it, double meanings too, and a little alliteration, et al! (And al is a friend of mine.) - This work requires several readings and some gargling, but no Googling. The one word that bothers me is "failture". Is it supposed to be a combination of "failure" and "future"? If not than I missed it and I guess my fulure is drismal. :(

I will mention this in the New Poems thread, if the day's reviewer does not.
