Caressing with fingertips these toughening soles
Searching as in a palm wither thee shall travel
And on thy journey touching unknown souls
Imprinting forever the magic that is you.

My soul you have touched and left a mark
Enlightening and reminding of old memories
Of journeys on which I had once embarked
And now are lost in misty hazes blue.

Journey on! Let none stand in your way
Keep your dreams alive and up to date
Too soon you'll learn we only have today.
Don't dim the path to reach Xanadu.

Little Man, you are my heartbeat here and now.
Misplaced, I know,but still a sacred fact.
I want to live through you and teach you how
To grab the Golden Ring and carry through

The task you set to finish pre-arrival.
The goals you set within The Book Of Life.
I'll give to you the tools for your survival
Of my Power, Son, I know you will be true.

A Knight you're named for,one of great charisma.
Who sinned a sin of passion and paid dear.
A gentle soul tho riddled with machismo
Tempestuous when riled. Tis true it's you!

I'm leaving soon; my work almost complete
Or maybe I'll be gone as you peruse this
These musings springing from your tiny feet.
One thing, and only one that I must tell you

I love you; always have and always will
Through lifetimes lived and lifetimes yet to come.
Remember Elmo! Redwall! Pecos Bill!
You're a ring tailed roarer straddled Babe The Blue!

Grammy's House will truly always be there
Hidden in The Very Magic Woods!
At the campsite cross the creek is waiting Little Bear!
The answers I don't have he holds for you.

Now there is just one more thing I need do
And so My Trickster, my Magical Coyote
I'm passing on my Power. Yes- to you!
Used wisely it will ever see you through.

Always hear me whispering calling to you,
In the pines, the wind, or embedded in your heart
For as long as you remember and you hear me
Then truly- we will never be apart!
