I coughed out loud in public spaces.
Those around showed frowns on faces.
I finally knew I had to tell my story
So I dialed my doctor of respiratory.

After check up; poked and prodded.
My doctor shook his head and nodded.
It would seem, he said, I was the owner,
of a serious disease, an aggressive tumor.

What to do when you have short time?
A plan on which to spend your last dime.
Where do you go and what do you do?
A place that offers what you never knew.

When you only have two weeks to breathe.
Spend it in Waco and don't just grieve.
Why you ask me, do this advice I give.
Two weeks in Waco is an eternity to live.

Heart wrenching. What would one do with so little time...
