Lovers in the shadow garden
Never lie, never say die
Black and blue like the roses that surround
Petals and thorns for their beds
Blades caress, kisses dark
Drawing the ruby wine of life
Sweet port, glittering bone
Sheath the blade and drive it home
Drink in the screams
Of the little death
It's a sweet, sweet darkness
In your leather caress
No one who runs
Shall escape, for they lack the will
To be free from the pits of hell
Where angels play at being devils
To feed the fires that keep us warm
You may feel hurt, but you'll not come to harm
In this heathen paradise
Between pleasure and pain
Light and darkness are the same
We'll bind your wings
To set you free
And that is why you'll come for me.
