A sapphire among diamonds
a lily among roses
a cowgirl among city slickers
one unlike any other

No matter what falls in her path
she refuses to stop
getting rid of two legged dogs
defeating life threatening illnesses

Scared from past pain
pain that still haunts her
unwilling to addmit
what shes truly waiting for...

A cleric
a healer of the heart
someone to catch her tears
someone to help fight the pain

But in fear of further pain
and more scares
she tries to fight her desire
and push men away

Theres one major flaw in her plan
something that makes her pushing pointless
someone unwilling to give up
me

No matter how long it takes
i will be there
standing by her
ready to catch her when she falls

I will be there
on my feet
willing to wait as long as it takes
for her to open her iron clad door

So for now
i stand at her door
unwilling to move
waiting...
