I've seen this...

happen all too often between my parents and my sister. As for myself, I prefer to say I was never like that while growing up. LOL!

Wasted fake tears,

wasted breath, wasted time - been there, done that, STILL there sometimes with the bigger spoiled children <sigh> You have brought every parent's lament here in a "come straight to the point" poem. It even carries the feel of weariness and time restraints that all working parents face. Great job on a harsh reality topic.
