a band played
three blocks down

snaked toward
our blue bubble

an echo between concrete walls
that didn't feel very concrete at all

just as elusive as my voice

but a band played

and for a moment we were fiction
wrapped in celluloid projected
for suspension of a disbelief

that might just be
our own

a band
sung the backdrop to our script
played out by unknown extras
suddenly filled
with a heavenly zeal
for star quality performance

so we could finally say
those things hidden
behind tied tongues

sifting the copia
swiftly this time

and not like before
a seemingly eternal
second
too slow

a band played
a blue bubble burst
and two small voices
were finally heard

Another deep write rich with visual imagery. I liked the quote Miss Oatlash found, this one too:

so we could finally say

those things hidden

behind tied tongues

My favorite lines...

and for a moment we were fiction

wrapped in celluloid projected

for suspension of a disbelief

Great feeling...
