A whispered caress touches my cheek
As your hand gently lays across it.
I lean in, press my lips to yours and love you slowly.
Feel me there, holding, touching, breathing you in.

I’m with you.
Catch me.
Catch us.

Holding you tightly now, my hands on your chest,
caressing you, loving you, surrounding you with a mantle of love,
hope, power.

Watch me.
Hold me.
Keep me with you.
Do not let me go.

My fingers trail through your hair.
Feel me there beside you.
My breath touches your skin and marks it.
You are mine.
I am yours.

Don’t let go.
Don’t leave.
You are tied to me.
We are one.

Taste my desire as I taste yours.
Love the warmth of my kisses
the moistness of my passion.
Absorb it. Swallow it. Keep it locked inside.

Keep me.
Keep us.
Do not let me free.

Don’t stop loving me.
For if you do. I will wilt away.
Become nothing.
Just a speck in the wind to be tossed about on a cloud.

Very well written piece, fraught with deep feeling. Especially like that last line, "Just a speck in the wind to be tossed about on a cloud."

delightful

I do so love when a poet can take words to capture a moment, a feeling...and save it forever in time. You do that uniquely well.
