The shadow shift
of your hip
waking heaven
in the darkness,
she reaches for you—
rock of ages,
tower of stone.
Soft white wings
spread wide,
she welcomes you,
a gentle trespass
into fleshy rosebud center.
Take your wayward,
willing angel
beyond the ancient ruins
of every past,
sink core-deep
into molten silver heat
until she feels love’s pulse
beating in her breast
and her heart sings
for you alone.

Salt Water

A picture love forms; the froth water makes when driven over broken rocks, drawn to shore.

Thank you
