Cry like an animal breaking
You’ve filled my heart and held it
Let if fall learn to walk away
We don’t talk past our past
Or dream of tomorrow anymore

Ask me if it hurts you ought to know
Know better than to tell me that
You love and love me still
Unmoving irresistible objects
Getting unchained on the way

Cutey honey you needs must know
When you are gone you are gone
No matter what brings you back
Even if the love remains
What’s changed is changed

Please hold back your tongue
As you kiss me goodbye
It’s a swollen ghost I yearn for
That once formed hateful words
What killed me then and there

They tell me it’s just too bad
An Iron bound blood let taste of irony
So I learn the taste of tears
If only if only onions were so sweet
As bottled desert peaches

Live life for eternity until it ends
These trying tiring never over days
Seeing people’s unbound foolishness
To be surrounded surrounding love
And mistaking it for duty.

This poem bleeds..

And there's so much beauty in tragedy. I know these moments, these thoughts, will probably haunt you for the rest of your life. I wish you could just pull these kinds of emotions up when you need the words for something profound - instead of living them.

A many-layered poem

is a thing of beauty. It was worth the read for this line alone:

"An Iron bound blood let taste of irony"

is like a prism, reflecting shades of meaning.

You're good.
