Tonight... I think of you
And all the awful things you put me through.
Just laying in my bed
Like all those hurtful things were never said.
Wondering why tings can never be the same
And all the while not knowing who's really to blame.
You said you loved me
But all that time couldn't really see
That I gave you everything I had.
So why'd you have to hurt me so bad?
Every night, every dream,
You came to my aid; or so it seemed.
Every touch and kiss betrayed.
Why couldn't you have just stayed?
I hadn't known what I'd done before
As I watched you walk out my door.
Ah! No more rhymes, no more games,
Everything I've said was all the same!
