GymShortsover 4 years agoHard to really care for Marly. A dishonest cop, as was her partner Finn. Is supposed to be a tough independent woman but gets off being dominated by strong good looking men, even controlled by them (Finn) and can't stop the sex once her motor gets going. Acts tough, seems strong, but kepts folding like a cheap chair.... She just wasn't a likeable character. 3*** because you take the time to write, then share, your stories and they're free.

Anonymousalmost 16 years agoA very good series of stories; great dialog; great plot and well written sex scenes make for any enjoyable read. It's nice to read a story with an actual plot and not some cut-rate excuse for crazed and debauched sex... not that crazed and debauched sex is bad.
I know that love and sex makes fools of us all, but I kept wishing for Marly to "be" the Strong and Tough woman she plays, not folding like a chair for Finn (to savage) whenever it suits his fancy or any other cruel bastard. Her character never struck me as the kind to tolerate abuse or degradation, but she did, repeatedly and wantonly. In the end, it made her appear as a submissive push-over; not ex-cop, not tough P.I., and certainly not the kind of woman who could cooly plan and kill a man.
In plain truth, Marly deserves so much better than Finn.
In all, I liked your PI series very much, but I was at odds with Marly's OOC submissive character and behavior.
4u2_nvabout 16 years agoWow...that was awesome. I'm addicted I want more! I'm a sucker for happy endings though. As much as I love all the emotions and joy and anger and pain that keep it real, i hope theres more, a lot more, and that Finn and Marly figure stuff out in their future. And where you come up with these ingenious plot twists and cases amazes me. As well as your ability to cover so much material and so much emotion in so few words... Masterful. I'd need 14 pages to convey the same things you manage to do in 4 paragraphs. I look forward to reading other series of yours as soon as I find time. As it is it's 3 am here, I'm going to bed...
