As to the key infection questions we all know those in the USA know nothing outside their own history or Geography😎
Oh, come on! Why do “key inflection points that help distinguish the Earth timelines” have to be from American history?! “In what year fell the Berlin wall, and was Mobutu still alive?” or something about the Black Plague would have been so much less cliché…
Other than that, the story is interesting, albeit slightly disturbing.
