Ephus and Serket appeared in the small building not far from his and his human wife's house. Ephus turned to look at Serket seeing the young goddess start to tremble.
"I am sorry that you are afraid my Serket, I do not wish to instill fear in you." Ephus said.
"No, husband," this she said in a whisper. "it is not fear, I am excited for the first time." She told a now shocked Ephus.

Anonymousover 3 years agoI love your work. One suggestion; if each installment is only going to be one page, maybe not bother using half of that to list all the characters? Anyone that has read past the first few chapters is familiar with them.
