This felt like it went on forever, but it couldn't have been more than several seconds. Time became secondary, as did all else around them, to this mutual trainwreck of bliss. Rolling thunder brought them back to reality; they realized that at some point during their wicked dance, it had begun to rain hard outside. As their panting subsided they heard it drum on the roof.
Nash regained the ability to speak first. "I'm sorry, love," he whispered, kissing her forehead. "Do you want me to go take a baseball bat to that towelhead's office?"
