Zoraster laughed, "Excellent. Now, what of the thorn in my side here?"
"Jenna succumbs more slowly, due to her less frequent use of the drug, but she succumbs nonetheless. She will be in our power soon."
"With those two under my control, I will possess the entirety of this nation's resources before another year passes. You are dismissed. Report back to me when Jenna is mine."
"As you command, Master Zoraster."
Zoraster turned back to the mirror, "Succeed, my little rose. Things move quickly, and being forced to reveal my hand here will delay my plans. Such will not amuse me."

taco1085almost 6 years agobravo, i love this chapter and the action as well. I was sad to see Terran would find the end to his quest to be close at hand, i hope we dont loose him... but that is the way the story goes.
Anonymousalmost 18 years agoYes, I agree with the last comment about the story being good enough to compete with mainstream books and I too am so caught up in the story and characters now that I skim some sex parts in favor of the story, to come back later and finish them. You have an excellent imagination and talent....thanks so much for writing here! Can't wait to get to the next part.
Lazarusabout 18 years agoThis story line is so good that I look every day on Lit just to see if the next chapter is up. I really think that it is good enough to be mainstream (of course the sex might need to be toned down a bit) but I like the characters and the story so much I think it would sell. I have to admit sometimes I skip the sex to read the story. Of course then I come back for the naughty bits, I'm not a monk.
