Laura screamed, "You bastard."

Those were the last intelligible words she uttered. Her head and arms were flailing all over the bed, because of this unexpected attack on her center. Her left leg crossed over his head trapping it where it was because it was giving her so much pleasure, and she didn't want it to stop.

Adam's body was nearly off the end of the bed so she was unable to return the pleasure he was affording her. She took his advice, and lay down, and enjoyed what he was giving her.

She was flowing like a new river, fast and clear, and even though he tried to drink all her fluids, before they dribbled down her thighs, he was unsuccessful. There was just too much honey flowing out of her for him to drink.

When he knew it was time for a change, he withdrew his tongue from her chamber, removed his thumb from her clitoris, and his mouth from her vagina.

There was an audible moan from Laura when this contact was broken. However, a moment later, when his mouth suckled on her clitoris, there was another moan of satisfaction. His tongue wrapped itself around the tiny nub, his teeth nibbled at it, and his lips kissed it.

Her hips danced all over the bed following his ministrations around the little button.

He was as rigid as steel, and knew the time had come. He slipped between her thighs, and moved up to look his bride in the eyes him. As he arrived he noticed Laura's eyes were wide open.

"Would you like to wait until tomorrow to consummate our marriage Mrs. Schiff?"

"No dear Adam, it was just the feeling of your angry probe against my vagina that startled me. I am very ready to begin."

"Probe? I have heard it called many things my dear, a penis, pike, pole, prick, prong, dick, dagger, sword, sabre, manhood, and I'm sure I've missed dozens of others, but never a probe. I will have to place that one on my list."

"Are you going to talk all night, or are you going to do your duty?"

"What duty?"

"Adam, I'm about to turn over and go to sleep."

"Are you angry with me again? I just saved our ship."

"If you don't shut up, you could lose a wife, and life, all in one night."

"What did George tell you to do when you are angry with me?"

"I already told you I loved you, and now you're making me wait again. You know how I hate waiting."

"Are you ready?"

"Yes I am."

He kissed her nose, eyelids, forehead, cheeks, chin, neck, and suckled on each nipple of her breasts.

While she was paying attention to his mouth, he took her arms and pulled them above her head. He was biting a nipple, when he pushed her thighs far apart.

His dick didn't need directions to get where it was going, with all the practice it previously had, however, her virginal opening was extremely tiny. Laying down she could only accommodate one finger entering her without pain. He raised her thighs on top of his, while tilting her hips upwards to a better receiving position. His left hand rubbed the tip of his penis up and down the lubricated slot of her vagina. Suddenly, he felt her hips retreat.

"Shhh, relax, the more you relax, the easier this will be for you my love. Try to relax your muscles and pay attention to my voice. I am yours for the rest of our lives. I'm never leaving you. I am always going to be by your side, and I am going to love you until you can't stand me anymore. I've loved you from the moment I first saw you, and I was never going to let you go. I would have chased you around the world if need be, even though I didn't have enough money to rent a private jet..."

As he was kissing her neck, and ears, while whispering to her, he could feel her relaxing. As she did, millimeter by millimeter, he slipped deeper into her. As he continued his dialogue, he took one quick jab, and pierced through her maidenhead, and continued moving until he was seated as deeply into her womb as he would ever be.

Laura let out a quick 'yelp', and it was over.

Laura pinched a nerve on Adam's neck.

He screamed, "What was that for?"

"That was for being a sneaky bastard." Then she kissed him.

"Do you want to fight, or would you rather continue?"

"I heard you could do both."

"Yes you can, but I already have you impaled."

"Okay, let's just make love."

"I have to see what time it is."

"Why?"

"I want to know if we sealed the deal on our wedding day, or on the day after."

"Does it make a difference to you?"

"I guess not."

"You have to remember we didn't get married until 4 PM. That gives you until 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and we know we beat that deadline."

"Good thinking, you've made me feel better."

"Men, you're so anal."

"You want to talk about anal sex already?"

"Yes, when is your 100th birthday?"

"You are very funny wife."

"Did you say we were going to carry on tonight, or were you finished, and I had to carry on by hand?"

"You keep your hands away from my treasure box. That belongs to me now, and anytime you get an itch there, I will be the one to scratch it."

"Adam."

"Yes dear."

"I have a really bad itch. Would you scratch it for me please?"

"I will, until heaven separates us."

"He wants to do what?"

"Read his note Doctor. He is perfectly within his rights to ask for a quorum to decide his fate."

"Callie is my son correct?"

"Yes he is Doctor Luck."

"If they allow this, I will resign as captain."

"You set the parameters Doctor, now you have to live with them. I'm not saying you are wrong, but to put a person, like him, into solitary confinement, with nothing to do, would drive him crazy and he knows it. Before that happens, he wants to take his life in his own hands, and die as a sentient human being. Truthfully, I would make the same decision."

"Ask him what he wants to change his mind."

"No sir, that's your job, and you have to do it before the quorum."

"You know I can't do that. It would be like a prisoner dictating terms to a warden. That can't happen, ever."

"As you wish sir."

I thought to myself, "I raised that boy to be a free thinker, and that's what I've done. I may have done too good a job."

What an inappropriate time for my sister to walk into my brain.

"Let him go Even, his job is done. You said so yourself, and you are never wrong."

"Not now Divine; go back to your cloud, and cover your head."

"Apparently it's not my head that needs covering. It's quite a quandary you have put yourself into, isn't it? If you don't give your son amnesty, the people on your ship can agree with his request, and you will lose him. If you give him amnesty, the people on this ship are going to think you are giving him favorable treatment, because he is your son, and he can get away with anything. What's going to happen when one of them breaks a rule?"

"Don't you think I know that? I'm going to have to go into the auditorium and testify against my son. How do you think that's going to make me feel?"

"It's going to make you feel like the captain of a vessel, in the middle of the unknown, trying to keep control over his crew. How else should you feel?"

"How about as a father, who loves his son?"

"If you think about it, you can have it both ways my brother. You can be the captain of a ship, and a father."

"The rules forbid anyone from speaking twice, during a quorum."

"You are absolutely right Even, the rules do forbid anyone from speaking twice, during a quorum. I'm going back to my cloud now; I'll wait to see what you did with your son's life."

"You always were a pain in the ass."

"Yes, and you loved every minute of it."

**********************

"You are going to allow my son to kill himself?"

"When did he go from our son, to your son Jennifer? Don't you think I'm tearing myself up inside trying to figure a way out of this abomination? He's put me in a corner I can't get out of. I can only speak once during the quorum, and I have to speak as the captain of this ship. If I don't, I'm abrogating my duty to the other 65 people on it, and I can't do that. It's totally unfair to them. Adam Schiff just risked his life for all of us. How do I look him in the eye and say to him that his life is worth less than my sons? What happens the next time there is an emergency, and someone else risks their life to save us. Isn't their life worth as much as Gordon's? He disobeyed a direct order, because he thought he was above me, above them, and above the safety of this ship. I will never allow that to happen, NEVER!"

"Can I speak to him? I know it hasn't been three days, but please let me talk him out of this craziness."

"It won't help Jen, because he's not crazy. He's thought this out. He's thought about Zoey, he has thought about the baby, and he has thought about his future on the ship. That's the worst part for him. He doesn't see a future for himself on this vessel, and he can't live without that."

"Give him something to live for Even. Give him something to look forward to. I don't want to lose our boy."

"I put myself in a box Jennifer, and I can't see a way out of it. It's up to you. You can speak at the quorum as his mother. Don't cry, but speak from your heart. Tell everyone what he has accomplished in his short life, and hope it turns the tide in our favor. If it doesn't, I'm through. Let them pick someone else as captain. I will not put my son on that elevator and watch him die."

"Neither will I Even. They will have to pick two captains to run this ship. There are several qualified people to do it, and we will not leave them adrift in space. Doctor Stevens can do it. Rhonda is extremely bright. Doctor Persky is another one that can do it. If I remember correctly, Audrie was Air Force. I know she has the leadership skills to run this ship. We can offer them assistance if it is needed but I will never step foot on the bridge again."

"Neither will I. I will go down to engineering, and help out down there.

Just think, we will be able to eat our meals together every day."

"Let's not count our turkeys before they hatch. Gordon told Monty where they were, and she now calls it 'Turkey City.'

"He said they were on board, and I knew he would not lie about it. Are the supplies on board also?"

"Yes, he hid them in the shower, in the room next to hers."

"I can't believe that boy. He did everything he said he was going to do."

"He's our son, would you expect anything less of him?"

"No, not at all. If he says he's going to do something, he is going to do it, and that is exactly what I'm afraid of."

***********************

Gordon was finally sleeping under his blanket. His decision had taken a massive load off his shoulders. If allowed to speak, he would beg the people at the quorum to allow him to die with dignity, instead of a man who lost his mind, while imprisoned. He would point to each of them, individually, and ask how they would prefer to die. With their minds clear, and cognizant of what they were doing, or living like an automaton, having someone take care of their every need.

'How would you like it if your mother, or your wife had to wipe your ass as a 20 years old man, who doesn't know his own name? I don't want that to happen to me. If they refused his request, he planned a second option.

His blanket was very light and he was very strong. He would tear pieces of it into little strips, and force them down his throat, blocking his airway. It would not be a pleasant death, but in a matter of moments he would be gone. God would never forgive him for committing suicide either way, and that was what he feared the most.

********************

"Gordon are you awake?"

"No mom, I am asleep."

"Okay, I'll come back tomorrow."

"Stay here, I just don't want to cry when I see you."

"I've been crying since you defied your father."

"Why do I do that? He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I treat him like dirt. I love him as much as I love you and Zoey, but he is always the one I pick to argue with. Can you explain to me why I do it, when I love him so?"

"You're going to have to look inside yourself for that answer, because I don't have it. Maybe it's something from your genetic father, but I doubt it. I hope it's not something you got from me when I was younger, but I can't answer for that either. You've had the best upbringing any boy could ask for. You've never missed a meal, you always had clothes on your back him, and a roof over your head. You learned on the best computers in the world, and from people who loved you. As you grew up to a young man, you were exposed to 250 of the top scientists in the world to build this spaceship. Each of them loved you, not only as a scientist, but as a young man who worked as hard as they did. They respected you for what you did and how you acted every day. What more could you possibly ask for.

You went to Washington and explained nuclear fusion to the best minds in the federal government You called them all idiots, when they could not understand what you were telling them.

You went on television with one of your father's former professors. He applauded you for your knowledge, and the way you behaved on stage. You were a young man to be honored for the way you acted and what you achieved, but you always had this itch to defy your father. Were you trying to be better than he was? I don't know? Is that what your trouble is? Are you trying to be better than Doctor Even Luck, and you feel yourself falling short of your goal? Do you know why your father is so famous, it's because he never tried to be better than anyone else. He tinkered down in his basement, and never talked to anyone about what he was doing. He made a fortune because of what 'he' was doing, not because of what anyone else was doing. No one was competing with him, because they never knew what he was doing. When he invented the headset for miniature radios, and tape recorders, he caught everyone off guard. They were just thinking about it, but your father had already done it. He made a fortune by being ahead of everyone. His acoustic sonar system is still used by the nuclear ballistic missile submarine fleet. He designed a stabilizer for the Have Blue project, in the basement, without a wind tunnel, because it was wobbling all over the sky. Why do you think those people in Austin always call him when they need something done, and not someone else? Why do you think our house has a security system with a fence 10 feet tall? Who else do you know that had an entryway like ours? It would've taken a tank to get through that thing, and by the time it did, your father could have destroyed all the records downstairs. Why was it so important to you to be better than your father?"

"I didn't know that's what I was doing, if I was truly doing it. I never looked at it that way. I never thought of it that way. I just thought I was arguing with him and I don't know why."

"Well, in two days you will find out if your request is granted. If it is, your father and I will resign as captains. Neither one of us will pull the switch allowing you to die in the vacuum of space. Someone will be with you in a spacesuit to throw you overboard like a piece of garbage, while we continue on our way to Saturn. It should be magnificent, but you will never get to see it. You can go back to sleep him now I will see you at the quorum."

"Good night mom, I love you."

"I love you too baby.

*******************

"What you here?"

Gordon's head popped up off the floor to see who could be visiting him in the middle of the night. As his eyes cleared he saw Teddy looking at him.

"Where is the guard?"

"She sleeping."

"Teddy do you know how much trouble you are going to be in, when your parents find out you are missing?"

"I not be missing. I'd be in bed. Mommy daddy make lot of noise. Why you hear?"

"I was a very bad boy. I did something that was unforgivable, and grandpa put me in jail. He is right, and I am wrong. Don't ever blame grandpa for what happens to me."

"What happens you?"

"I die, not go to heaven."

"Why not go heaven?"

"Bad boys not go to heaven."

"You pray?"

"For what I am going to do, prayers don't help."

"Pray always help."

"Ask mommy in the morning, she will tell you why prayers will not help me."

"Tell now."

"Teddy this is very hard. What I'm going to ask everyone to do is allow me to kill myself. I was a threat to all of them. I placed myself above everyone, the captain, and the ship itself. God doesn't allow people into heaven who kill themselves."

"Why do it? Say sorry, never do again. I do with strawberry syrup."

"I wish it was only strawberry syrup Teddy, but this was with something very powerful. Without it, the mission fails, and I defied grandpa. I was a very bad boy, and I must take responsibility for my actions."

"Head please."

"Teddy there is nothing in my head?"

Delicious said, "Her behind is going to be so red in the morning, it's going to look like Mars."

"Mommy daddy make too much noise, couldn't sleep. Came visit Gordon."

"You took the elevator two floor down to visit Gordon?"

"No, I walk, easy. Head please.

"Teddy, there is nothing wrong with my head."

"Except that you're as dumb as a mule Gordo, give her your head."

Gordon felt the same electrical connection Gwen felt when Teddy touched both hands to her temples.

As she was still holding him, Teddy asked, "Mommy, touch head, feel heat?"

Delicious felt around the top of Gordon's head feeling for a spot that was emanating heat through his thick hair. She found it approximately 3 inches back from his left eye brow.

"What is it Teddy, tell mommy?"

"Bad mommy; big tumor, bad place."

"Teddy don't worry about it. I'm going to be dead the day after tomorrow. It will not be the tumor that kills me."

Teddy began to cry. Delicious picked her up, and tried to calm her down.

"He not die. He too important."

"What am I supposed to do baby? He broke a very bad rule."

"Call Doctor."

"Is someone sick?"

"Gordon sick."

"You sneaky little devil."

"Not devil, not angel, just me, grandma, God."

"Would you ask God to help me control my temper?"

"Do it all time. Daddy too."

"Thank you baby."

"Welcome. Call Doctor."

She pulled out her communicator and called his room. "Doctor Finch, this is Delicious Thyme. Would you please meet me in the infirmary please, it is very important?"

"Should we wake up the guard, or just take her keys?"

"No want her in trouble, wake."

"Do you three really think I'm sleeping. You're making enough noise to wake up the entire floor. What's up with Gordon's head, besides someone should cut it off, and feed it back to him.

"Be nice Joann; remember my father never said I couldn't have pet turkeys. I could have them squawk when you're really sleeping."

"I never sleep while I'm on duty. I rest, but I know everything that's going

within 50 feet of me."

"How far is it from your seats to my cell?"

"From the chair to the locking mechanism is 27'3". I'll measure it using your blood if you want me to?"

"You are not that good Joann. Ask Janet and she will tell you."

"Okay you two, can we get to the infirmary, before the doctor gets there?"

"Put your hands behind your back and stick them through the bars so I can cuff you."

"Where do you think I'm going?"

"It's protocol, and I am not breaking it, because if I do and Monty catches me, I will be the next thing that breaks."

"Excellent thinking, you don't want Monty on your back, regardless of the situation. You also don't want to break a rule as I did."

"You didn't break a rule Gordon; you broke THE rule."

"Tell me about it."

*********************

"I feel like I'm back in Temple, what's the emergency this time?"

"Gordon has a tumor in the left center of his head."
