Click here"I told you I liked older women Ella, now I'll have one in my bed for the rest of my life. I absolutely adore her little girl, and as a bonus, she wants to start having babies as soon as we tie the knot."
I chose not to attend the wedding deciding I'd bless them with a sizeable check to start things off. I never saw Lewis again other than to see his picture when I'd read about one of his latest projects in the paper. We stayed in touch through the years via texting and Christmas letters, I knew he now had three daughters as siblings to his adopted daughter.
Knowing my life expectancy was not very long I wrote my last Christmas card to he and his family when I was 77. I did it with a smile on my face remembering the summers we'd had together and how he'd reminded me that just because I was older, it didn't mean life was over.
*****Great storyline with some great storytelling. Makes a great piece of writing very entertaining read!! Thanks for sharing.
Good story. Contrary to some of your other critics I found the opening to be original and creative. The middle portion of the story provided the right context for Ella’s situation and attitude. Some people are fixated on sequential stories that progress linearly from A to Z. I enjoy the occasional story that inverts the plot. I’m anxious to see Ella’s comments. Hopefully she will post them. As usual, good work.
