His Name Was Jack

Meeting Jack changed my life. In fact, it could be argued that he simply handed me his, having fouled it up and wanting it to be made whole again. Of course, it's a work in progress. I'm still trying to build up my furniture-making business, and sometimes the kids miss Jack, but usually it's late at night when their minds are wandering, and we allow them to get the emotions out and then remind them that we love them.

Soon our little clan will get a little bigger. Julie is 6 months along with a little sister that we plan to name Jacqueline (Jackie for short) in honor of the man that made her life possible. Someday we may tell her about him and how her parents came together, but at the very least we will honor her and her siblings by being true to each other as long as we both live.
