"Hank, this is the first time I have ever been on a flight deck. When I was reading the Boeing manuals, I was amazed to find out that if you could fly one Boeing aircraft, you could fly them all. All their instrumentation layouts are exactly the same. A new 737 is exactly like a new 787. Their flight parameters are different, but the instrumentation is exactly the same.

Hank continued, "Patty, if you want to learn how to fly this aircraft, I can get your license in less than 2 years. The only reason it will take that long is because of the hours you need to log in on the smaller aircraft.

"I've never thought about flying Hank, but I will consider it. Thank you for mentioning it."

As they exited the control zone and reentered air traffic control airspace they were again asked, "Who the heck do you know?"

Patty responded, "I'm not supposed to use his name, because it's quite unfair to others. However, If I tell you he has a big ranch in Texas, would that be okay?"

The air traffic controller said, "Yes mam that will do just fine."

Everything was going just fine until they turned onto final approach. Hank said, "Patty, we are too high and going too fast. Do you want me to take over?"

"Keep your hands off my instruments; everything will work out in 42 seconds."

They passed the outer marker, and Hanks hands were very itchy. He wanted to grab the yoke and do a missed Approach. They were at 12,000 feet, doing 250 knots. The airport was at 6200 feet, and they were 6 miles from touch down. At 4 miles out Patty said, "Gear down, Flaps 70%."

Hank responded immediately to her commands, and lowered the gear and moved the flap lever to the 70% mark.

Patty eased back on the throttles to less than 20% power, and as they passed the inner marker, and the aircraft was at 7800 feet doing 138 knots. 1500 feet down the runway the tires touched concrete, and Patty deployed the thrust reversers, slowing the aircraft as she hit the brakes.

As they taxied to the general aviation terminal Patty looked at Hank and asked him what was wrong?

"You do not have a pilot's license. This was your first time flying an aircraft of any type. Couldn't you at least have bounced once on landing so I could have said something nasty to you? You brought that aircraft in so high and so fast if it was anyone else I would have taken over, and gone around. I don't know why I didn't, but for some reason I trusted you. You are absolutely amazing Patricia. I have never met anyone like you. This is not an easy airplane to fly, yet you make it look like a toy. I will fly with you any place you want to go and never have a problem allowing you to sit in that seat. You are a joy to be around. I am going to make some inquiries to see if we can get around the time limits. Someone like you should not be forced to play around with a single engine aircraft when you probably could build one from a kit in a few days."

They arrival scene was a disappointment. The sky was clear, the daytime temperature was in the low 60s, and the nighttime temps were in the high 40s. There was not a drop of snow to be seen anywhere on the mountains, except at the extremely high elevations.

Patty looked at Stephano and said, "Don't be such a pussy, you can do it."

"Patricia Valentino, the trails up there are 'Black.' You have never had skis on before, and you are going to start on the hardest trails there are?"

"I told you, Stephano. I have read the training manuals, several skiing journals and watched a few hours of tapes. I am not worried about me. However, you had better be careful. I don't want you to go to Callie's wedding, wearing a cast on your arms or legs. You would embarrass the hell out of me."

"Can we go to the hotel first, and screw around. If you wind up in a body cast, I won't be able to fuck you for two months."

"There are always two other options, Steph. My mouth will be available, or I could die. Then you could find the book I read, go back to Penn, and teach all those lovely co-eds what sex is supposed to be like."

"Patricia, there is only one of you. That is why we got married. I don't want anyone else."

"Thank you Stephano, I love you too. Let's go steam up our room. Then we will go steam up the slopes."

While Stephano stopped at the registration desk to check in, Patty roamed around the lobby and stopped by the pharmacy. She picked up a few items, paid for them; put them in her bag. She joined Stephano as he was finishing the checking process.

They were told their bags would be delivered to their suite, and they were free to do whatever they wanted.

They decided on a light lunch, and while they were eating, the flight crew walked into the dining room.

Stephano waved, and asked if they would like to join them. A light lunch turned into a three-hour feast. The crew told stories about themselves, the people they met during their travels, and places they should avoid going to, if at all possible, and the reasons why. It was all very informative, and a lot of fun.

Patty knew that these 3 people would fit beautifully, as Stephano's need to travel would increase over time. She knew he would be in very good hands, as she began to trust these people, as they opened their souls to them, over lunch.

Patty noticed the seating arrangement of the crew and wondered. She said, "Stephano, show Hank and Greg to the bathroom please."

Stephano said, "But..."

Patty looked him in the eye as he said that word, and it was the last he spoke.

"Gentlemen, we are leaving. Follow me please."

Greg said, "Yeah, I got that same feeling."

As soon as the men were out of hearing distance, Patty smiled at Shirley and asked, "Should I hire another flight attendant, before they start fighting over you; or has the fighting already begun? If they pull on your legs any harder, you are going to need hip replacements."

"I don't want to lose this job. The pay is too good. You and Stephano are wonderful to work for. I don't know what to do with them. They are both wonderful men, and I have never been married. They have both asked me to marry them, but if I choose one over the other, there is going a seething hatred between them. I don't want that to happen, because they have been friends forever."

"So how are you handling the sex with them?"

"I am not handling it very well, I'm afraid. I guarantee them one night a week. If I feel like doing more during their week, I leave a note on my door. If I find out the other one tore off the note, he loses his week. It's all very weird, and it's very hard on all of us."

"Okay, I'll go back to my original question. Should I hire another flight attendant?"

"What happens if they like her better than me?"

"She will be fired. It's just as simple as that. I will tell her that upfront, so she knows the rules."

"You would do that for me?"

"Stephano and I are trying to build a family around us that we can trust at all times. I have a feeling about Hank, Greg, and you; just as I had about Rita and Paul Stephenson, our helicopter pilots. Trust is something you can't put down on paper. Trust is something you feel in your heart. I feel that with you three, and I don't want to lose you. Whatever I have to do to keep you happy and safe, I will do."

"I know how to clean houses, and I do windows, inside and outside. I have done a lot of things to survive, before I was able to get into this line of work."

"It just so happens that I have a couple of houses on my property which are empty right now. I might as well have you live in and clean them, before I have been demolished."

"Why would you want them cleaned, if you are going to have it demolished?"

"Do you want to live in a dirty house, rent free?"

Shirley blanched at the thought of living rent free, and offered, "I know how to mow lawns."

"I'll buy you a self-propelled model, if you want."

Shirley said, "That would be great; it will save me a lot of time. How big is your property?"

"It's just over 35 acres."

"Patty, you can't do this to me. I am trying to repay your kindness. Every time I offer to do something for you, you nearly give me a heart attack. Is there anything at all I can do for you?"

"Yes, Shirley, there is. In about 8 months there will be four new feet in my household. If you are not flying, you could come over to the house, and help me with the twins."

"Oh Patty, congratulations, I would love to help you with the babies. I was a certified babysitter when I was young. I had the badge and paperwork to prove it. I made more money than anyone else because of it. I even saved a baby's life once. It was on TV and in the newspapers because of my training."

"Let's hope it never comes to that. However, it's good to know that you have that training. It means that Stephano I can go out to a movie, and leave you in charge of our little ones."

The three men came marching back to the table and sat down. Stephano said to Patty, "We are all drained. There is not a drop of fluid left in us. Are you two finished with your super-secret meeting?"

"Yes, we are, and because these two men are about to cut each other's throat over one woman, I have decided to hire another flight attendant."

She looked at Hank and Greg and asked, "I shouldn't have to ask this but I'm going to anyhow so don't be offended, and please be honest with yourselves and with me. It will not affect your employment with us at all. It will affect who we hire for you. Are either of you homosexual? Please be honest with yourselves, and with me, because if you are I will hire a man, if not I will hire a woman."

Both Hank and Greg said they were not homosexual, and requested a female flight attendant be hired.

Patricia said she would take care of it when they got back to Glens Falls. Until that time, there will be no sexual interplay amongst the flight crew. She explained what she had observed, and what Shirley and she had talked about. She wanted no disharmony amongst the crew, because she did not want to lose any of them.

She asked if anyone wanted to go skiing on the upper slopes with her and Stephano. Everyone declined.

"Remember what I said, no fucking around. If I find out that Shirley has had intercourse with either of you, your salaries are going to be cut, your flight time increased, and your lives made miserable. I can do that very easily, can't I, Stephano?"

"Hank, Greg, you would rather be a eunuch then have your lives made miserable by my wife. I have been there, she has done it to me, and I barely survived. Do not let it happen to you."

Greg said, "You are such a wimp."

"Greg you are absolutely right. However, before I met Patricia I was the ruler of my kingdom. No one fucked with me. I had women throwing themselves at my feet. I was screwing them morning, noon, and night. The only place I did not screw them was on the Dean's desk. Then I finished graduate school and my father threw me a party. That's when my life ended, because that's where I met her. She wanted no part of me, and that was my downfall. No woman had ever said "NO" to me. The only time she said yes was when I asked her to marry me."

Patty yelled, "I did not say yes willingly. You had my arm twisted behind my back, and threatened to break it if I didn't say yes."

Stephano screamed back at her, "You got me where you wanted me, didn't you? You got me to the altar, with a priest, and enough witnesses to prove that I said I do."

"You have the same thing on me. I was the one in white. I was the Virgin who you ruined in bed. I will never be a virgin again. You have me pregnant now, with your twins. It was not an Immaculate Conception. You can leave anytime you want, but you can never marry again, and neither can I."

Hank smiled and said, "Rita told us that you argue all the time. I guess it's true."

Stephano replied, "You can bet your ass on it."

Patty laughed. "You had better walk with your backs against the wall, when my husband is around. He has a fetish about asses. He has been after mine since the day we met."

"You little bitch! I will get you for that."

"Why, is your little friend awake finally?"

Hank, Greg, and Shirley could not contain themselves. They started laughing at their new bosses.

Stephano looked at them and said, "Don't you three start laughing at me."

Patty looked at him and said, "Steph, they are not the only ones laughing at you. If you look around, everyone within earshot is laughing at you. I think it's wonderful."

Stephano picked up his head and looked around the dining area. As he did, people around the table are laughing, and applauding.

He turned to say something to his wife, but she was running for her life, towards the elevators. He yelled, "You can run, but you can't hide forever."

Patty stopped running, turned around, and yelled to him, "I don't have to hide forever; I just have to hide until your little friend gets tired and goes back to sleep for the next few weeks."

The people in the restaurant roared with laughter and applauded the bride.

Stephano started running towards her and yelled, "That's it woman, this will be the shortest marriage ever. Your behind is mine; Death by spanking."

Patricia walked into an elevator, and waited for Stephano to get close enough before she allowed the door to close. As he was running towards her, she said, "If you have any energy left when we get upstairs, you can have your way with me." The door closed in his face, and he screamed in frustration. The elevator next to hers opened, passengers disembark, and he got in. He pressed the button for the 11th floor, and wanted the elevator to fly.

Meanwhile, Patty exited on the second floor, mezzanine level, walked down to the restaurant, and rejoined the flight crew.

Shirley said, "What the hell are you doing here?"

"I think I am getting him angry. He is so much more fun that way."

Greg asked her if she was going to survive the day.

"I am sure I will survive the day Greg, its tonight I'm not sure of."

"I believe what Paul said to us before he went back to the helicopter. You two are the craziest people he has ever met, and the best people to work for. I hope you don't kill each other, because I think this job is going to be a lot of fun."

Too Long

I have read the first 21 postings of this and I cannot read further. I enjoyed the plots and the linkages into other stories but after a page of this I find I cannot take it any further. It is much too long.
