The logo on the CBC network was clearly visible, although sideways to how it normally was displayed. Water rushed in through numerous broken windows. Within a matter of seconds, it became obvious that the chopper was rapidly sinking.
Then Gwen noticed that Steve was no longer in the limo. She turned her head to look toward the rear of the vehicle see him stripping his dress uniform off and tossing it on the trunk of the limo.
"Oh, no! He's doing it again!" was all she could think as she swung the door open with one hand while unzipping her coat with the other. By the time she had removed her coat, Steve was racing for the river, clad only in his boxers. Shaking her head at the thought of entering the frigid waters of the Potomac, Gwen reached behind her back and unzipped her dress.

The mention of Steve’s rank. A Navy lieutenant is equal rank to a Marine, Army, or Airforce Captain. A Navy ranking captain is equal to a Colonel. Any navy personnel in charge of a ship has the title but not necessarily the rank of “captain” those of you that served can clarify much more
