"OK honey. Breakfast sounds nice and I am sure Beth would like it."

She left to get Beth up and I got up to go upstairs to wash up and change. We spent a quiet weekend at home and by Monday I had mostly forgotten Friday's incident.

I needed to get Daniel alone for my plan to work. I needed a few days where no one would be expecting him to be anywhere and yet at the same time he was far enough away from what I was going to do he wouldn't be a suspect.

The next week or two was hard for some reason. I felt a little tired and depressed and just like I needed a change. I hadn't been hunting in a few years, so I decided to take a few days off, go home to my grandfather's cabin and get in some deer hunting.
