"I haven't really giving it much thought." Jake answers. "I was thinking about something in a science related field but I've always loved to draw. It's been a hobby of mine forever."

Mr. Golden seems to give this answer some thought as the group heads towards the fairs midway. Along the way, they run into Bobby and Marybeth.

"Hey guys," Jessica says as she hugs Marybeth. "I didn't know you guys were going be here tonight, too."

"My mom got tickets from work." Bobby answers. "She didn't want them so here we are. Nice to see you again, Mr. and Dr. Golden. And you too, Sarah."

"We just saw my picture in the ribbit hall." She enthusiastically tells them. "I'm famous now."

"You are?" Marybeth asks kneeling down. "Remind me to ask you for your autograph later on then."

"I will." Sarah assures her then turns to Jessica. "What's a artoo-graph?"

"Firstly, it's an exhibit hall not a ribbit hall and it's autograph not artoo-graph." Jessica instructs her.

"I kind of like Artoo-graph." Bobby states.

"You would." Jake laughs.

"Good seeing you two again as well." Mr. Golden says pulling the teens back from an playful insult tirade.

"We should have you over to our house sometime, Marybeth. We love to have Jess's friends over and I think that you're the only one that hasn't been by yet." Dr. Golden says.

"Thank you for inviting me, Dr. Golden. Jess has invited me a few times as well but I'm usually busy with my after school job but we do have a few days off from school coming up. Maybe I can come over during one of those days." Marybeth suggests.

"Anytime, Marybeth, you're always welcome." Jessica tells her. "So, how are your costumes coming along? Are they going to be ready for the big party?"

"You and Jake are the ones that should worry about your costumes being ready on time." Bobby laughs. "I know Jake goes all out when it comes to costumes and I'm sure this year is no different."

"It's not but I'm sworn to secrecy so no hints for you, Bobby." Jessica tells him.

"I think it's cute that you guys have requested that the costumes be themed for your big party." Dr. Golden says.

"Big is right." Marybeth says. "There's been a lot of people coming up at school and asking me about it. I thought this thing was a small little get together."

"We'll get a few more people to swing by this year but not as many as you're thinking." Jake answers. "Antoine and Twanda are going to stop in for a little while that I know of."

"Marisha is coming by, too." Jessica answers. "Staci and I gave her directions just the other day. She really wants that dance with her homecoming escort it seems."

"I hope she knows how to Monster Mash." Jake jokes.

"Her poor toes," Bobby quips.

"No abusing Jake, Bobby." Jessica declares. "We're headed towards the game booths and if you burn Jake too bad with an insult he might feel the need to show off and beat us all."

"He shows off all right," Bobby laughs. "Somehow it only happens when you're around though. Kind of odd, don't you think? You come to school this year and suddenly Jake is playing in the football games, getting elected to homecoming court..."

"Dating the hot volleyball star." Marybeth jumps in.

"While being adored by her parents." Dr. Golden states.

"Are we going to go play some games or what?" Jake asks as he feels his face growing hot.

"We had better before someone mistakes you for one of the sideshow performers." Mr. Golden says. "Jake, the glowing faced boy!"

Jessica leans in and kisses Jake on his red cheek. "I love it when you blush, sweetie." She tells him. "Now, let's go win some prizes!"

****

Sarah spots the prize she wants to win as soon as the group turns down the aptly named Arcade Alley .

"Can we play that one?" Sarah asks pointing towards a horse racing game where players roll a ball into different holes to move their horse along a track on the wall behind the attendant.

"Of course we can." Dr. Golden assures her. "We can all play if you want us to or one of us can help you."

"I can do it." Sarah says confidently.

"Which one of the prizes caught your eye?" Jake asks looking at the larger stuffed bears, bunnies and of course horses hanging all around the booth.

"That one!" Sarah answers as she excitedly points out a large white unicorn that has a rainbow colored mane and tail.

"How many wins does it take for the unicorn?" Jessica asks the attendant running the booth.

"Five wins will get you any of the big prizes." He answers then with a glance at Sarah. "And yes, you can stack the wins as long as the small prizes are redeemed for the unicorn."

"Sarah, are you sure that you want me to play?" Jessica asks. "I'll be fine helping you if you want me to."

"I want you to play." Sarah answers then looks at the board in front of her. "How do I play?"

Jake takes a seat to one side of Sarah while Jessica takes the other.

"When it starts, your ball will roll out of here." Jake explains while pointing to slot on the board. "You'll take the ball and roll into one of these holes here and that moves your horse down the track."

"Which horse is my horse?" She asks.

"You're sitting at number eight so your horse is number eight." Jessica tells her then points to the big board on the wall. "The number eight horse is the gray one right there."

Sarah eyes a white horse on the board and the corresponding seven on its side. She then looks at Jake's board and see the number seven as well.

"Switch." She orders him.

"A please would be nice, Sarah." Mr. Golden reminds her.

"Please, Jake?" She asks.

"Anything for you, Sar-bear." Jake comments as he gets up from his seat allowing Sarah to slide over.

"Lost my lucky horse." Jake quietly comments to Jessica as more players take up a few of the remaining seats.

"Poor baby," Jessica answers then whispers into his ear. "I'll make it up to you."

With him blocking the view of her parents she takes a quick nibble on his earlobe causing him to shudder.

"Is everyone ready?" The attendant calls out.

"I was." Jake answers quietly causing Jessica to giggle.

"Here we go then." The attendant then presses a button and the sound of the starting horn rings out from the booth. As soon as the sound fades the balls drop into the slots and the race begins.

Sarah's horse falls behind early until Jake tells her to aim for center hole at the back of the others. Her comeback bid comes up short but she manages a third place finish just ahead of Jake. Jessica wins the first race with their dad coming in second.

"Number nine, winner!" The attendant announces as the horses slide back to the starting line. "Pick your prize, little lady."

"How does this work towards the unicorn?" Jessica asks before choosing.

"It helps me keep track." He explains. "You pick one now and when you and your family have five, she can trade them in for the unicorn."

Jessica nods then looks over the small prize board. "I'll take that cute little purple bear, please." She tells him.

He plucks it off the rack and sits it in front of her board then picks up his microphone. "There you go, miss. Race number two is getting ready to begin. Riders ready? And we're off!"

They play six more races until Sarah manages to win the unicorn clenching fifth victory.

"I did it!" She shouts gleefully.

"Great job, Sarah!" Jake congratulates her.

"Way to go, sis!" Jessica joins in. "Here's my two bears for you to turn in."

Jessica slides her bears over onto Jake's board and he adds the bear he won to the pile.

"And here's mine." He states pushing the trio of colorful plush bears onto Sarah's board.

"Here's mine, baby." Dr. Golden says walking hers over to Sarah's seat.

"And your win makes five, sweetie." The attendant says to Sarah. "I believe that you wanted this beauty right here, right?"

Sarah nods when he points to the unicorn. He gives her a smile then unclasps it from it's holder before passing it over to her.

"She's as big as you are, Sarah." Jessica laughs.

"Laugh all you want now, Jess, because you'll be the one carrying it around when she gets tired of holding it." Mr. Golden points out.

"You're just grumpy because you didn't manage to win one race." Jessica teases.

"I finished in second place four times." He points out. "I guess that I'm destined to always be a bridesmaid."

"Aw, you'd look so cute in a bridesmaid dress." Jessica giggles. "I'm thinking pink taffeta. Mom?"

"He looks better in green." Dr. Golden tells her.

"Something a little above the knee please." He says. "I happen to have great knees."

"I'm filing that under information that I never wanted to know." Jake comments.

"Jake makes a good point." Jessica says taking him by the arm. "I say we go get something to eat now. That is, if anyone still has an appetite after the visual dad just gave us of his knees."

"Now that you said food, that's all I can picture." Dr. Golden comments. "Let's go get something to eat now then a few games so that can settle then rides. Sound like a plan?"

"Perfect." Jake answers.

"Agreed, honey." Mr. Golden states taking his wife by the hand. "Lead the way."

****

At the food stalls, Jake and Jessica both choose a slice of pizza each and manage to talk Sarah into ordering a slice for herself instead of the elephant ear, cotton candy and candied apple combo she was trying to get.

"We've still got rides to ride, Sarah." Jessica points out. "I don't know about Jake, but I don't want your tummy to get upset while we're swinging along in that pirate ship you want us to ride with you."

Sarah acquiesces at the mention of the rides and begins munching on a pizza slice that's nearly as big as her head while their parents share a Polish sausage smothered in onions.

"We're saving room for dessert." She tells the kids as they watch them eat from the same plate.

"I thought we were, too." Jessica says while holding up her large slice of pizza.

"We'll come back for dessert after the rides." Mr. Golden tells them. "I need to take home a few candied apples and at least a couple bags of those fresh peanuts."

"And cotton candy!" Sarah reminds him.

"How could I forget the cotton candy?" He asks her. "Jake, are you eyeing any particular dessert?"

"I've got to get an elephant's ear." Jake answers.

"Two." Jessica adds.

"Three." Sarah chimes in.

"You only have yourself to blame, Jake." Dr. Golden points out. "You told us all how good they were now, I think I'm going to have to try one myself before we leave."

"More games and rides first though, right?" Sarah asks.

"As soon as you eat a few more bites of that pizza, yes." She answers.

Once most of the food is ate the group heads back towards Arcade Alley and the rides beyond. Jake wins Jessica a stuffed dolphin plush animal from the dart tossing booth which gets him a big hug and kiss from her.

"I love dolphins." She shares then gives him another kiss before her dad clears his throat.

They then stop at the Pick up Ducks booth where they sit and let their food settle while Sarah picks up the plastic toys, winning herself a pencil case before they head to the rides. Mr. and Mrs. Golden beg off joining the kids on the swinging pirate ship so Jake and Jessica each take Sarah by the hand and stand in line for the ride.

"Excited, Sarah?" Jessica asks her as the line moves forward.

"Uh huh." Sarah answers. "The kids in my class all talked about this ride but no one's rode it yet. I'm gonna be the first!"

"My sis, the pioneer for first graders everywhere." Jessica comments with a giggle.

They reach the attendant who confirms that Sarah is just above the height requirement to ride.

"Got three!" She calls out to the attendant that makes sure everyone buckles in correctly.

"Three?" he calls back then waves them on.

Jessica slides into the seat, followed by Sarah with Jake sliding in last to complete the Sarah sandwich.

"Keep holding my hand." Jake instructs Sarah. "I'll get too scared if you let go."

"First time, huh?" the attendant asks as he shows them how to buckle in.

"It almost was." Jessica remarks.

"Yes, sir." Jake answers nodding towards a worried looking Sarah.

"Well it looks like you're in here with a pro rider." He chuckles and nods at Sarah. "You'll take care of this guy, won't you?"

"I will, sir." Sarah answers and gives Jake's hand a squeeze.

The man claps Jake's shoulder. "See there. You've got nothing to fear with this one with you." He then gives Jake and knowing wink before moving on.

"You know if you keep teasing me like you are, there will be consequences." Jake tells Jessica who gives him a wink of her own.

"Oh I know and believe me when I say that I spotted a place to... um... relieve some of those consequences as soon as we're done here."

Before Jake can ask her what she means by that, the ride slowly begins to move.

"Here we go, Sar-bear!" Jessica calls out as she squeezes her other hand. "Are you ready?"

"Yep!" Sarah answers then a few seconds later she's screaming out in joy with the rest of the riders.

"Arms up for the next swing." Jake calls out to Sarah and Jessica who comply as the ship reaches its apex. "Ready, Sarah?"

"YYYEEEESSS!" Sarah screams as they trio left their arms as the ship begins it's downward plunge.

Soon the ride slows and as soon as they unbuckle themselves from the bench Sarah jumps up excitedly.

"Let's go again!" She shouts.

"We can come back to this one in a little while." Jessica promises. "We need to go and see what mom and dad want to ride and there's a ride that I want to ride with Jake."

"And me?" Sarah asks.

"Just Jake." Jessica states. "Then we'll ride whatever else you want us to. Deal?"

Sarah agrees with only a bit of reluctance.

"Did you have fun, Sarah?" Dr. Golden asks as the kids return.

"It was so awesome!" Sarah enthuses then proceeds to tell her parents all about the ride going so far as to pantomime the swinging of the ship with her own arms.

"So you thought it was mediocre at best then?" Mr. Golden chuckles.

"I loved it! I want to ride it again but sissy says that I've got to wait." Sarah explains.

"I saw a ride that I want to ride with Jake. You three can go ride the swings or merry-go-round and we'll meet up over by the big slide thing." Jessica tells them.

"Jake, do I need to lay down some ground rules for how you should behave with my daughter in the Tunnel of Love ride?" Mr. Golden asks while donning his best stern face.

"There's no Tunnel of Love here, Dad." Jessica says then points towards the ride she's talking about. "We're going to ride the Haunted Trail Ride. I doubt that it's going to be very romantic but you can lecture Jake on that if you must."

Mr. Golden looks at the rides scary facade then back to the teens. "I see. Okay then, Jake, if an ax wielding maniac pops out at you in there, you are allowed to give your life in defense of my daughter." He tells them.

"Let's hope we don't run into one of those." Jake jokes.

"I guess it's everyone for themselves if said maniac is wielding say a chainsaw or a really big knife then?" Jessica jokes.

"If either of those pop out, I will miss you dearly, my baby girl." Mr. Golden tells her.

"Come on, Jake." Jessica says as she pulls him towards the Haunted Trail Ride. "He'll start laying out rules for you abide by if we meet a ghost, a demon or that guy that makes those parody songs."

"Weird Al?" Jake asks.

"That's the one."

"You hug Weird Al, Jess." Jake tells her. "Everybody knows that."

****

The sounds of screaming riders, ghostly wailing and a chainsaw emanate from the ride as Jake and Jessica approach the line. Jake notices that Jessica started looking at her phone when they got in line and she keeps glancing down at it every couple of seconds.

"Hot text from Staci?" He asks after a couple of minutes.

"Nope." She answers not looking up.

Jake is quiet for another minute. "Group chat?" He asks and she shakes her head.

A moment later she looks up from the phone and smiles.

"Want to explain what's going on then?" He asks. "I don't have you pegged as a person that usually rides scary rides like this one and you've barely looked at anything but your phone since we got in line."

"I was timing the ride." She tells him. "It takes one of it's cars two minutes and forty two seconds from the time it disappears inside until it emerges back out in the open."

"Okay? And you needed to know that, why?" Jake asks.

"Reasons." she answers cryptically.

Jake simply shrugs and waits for the next car to arrive in the loading station.

"Try not to die in there." the college age looking woman running the ride tells them with a wink.

"We'll do our best." Jessica promises her just before she presses the button to send the car into the attraction. The doors open with a shriek and soon the car is plunged into darkness. Suddenly Jake feels a hand, at least what he hopes is a hand, rub the front of his jeans.

"Jess?" He whispers as a skeleton pops out of the wall beside their car.

"Surprise." She whispers back as she unbuttons his pants and fishes out his rapidly inflating cock.

"What... what's the plan here?" He stammers as she begins to stroke him.

"To make you come for me before the ride's over." She answers. "Think I can do it?"

"Two minutes... and what exactly?" Jake asks as her thumb teases the underside of his crown. It's difficult for her to determine whose moaning is louder; Jake's or the ghost that the car just passed under.

"Twenty five... four... three..." Jessica counts down for a moment then leans in and begins kissing and licking on his ear. She moves he lips down to his neck then zeroes in on the spot she's discovered that drives him crazy when she teases it with her tongue. Her hand is pumping him faster but she makes sure to tease her fingertips around the head to drive him closer to climax.

"Fuck!" Jake cries out as she nibbles on his neck. She then moves back up to his ear.

"God, you are so hard, Jake." She whispers to him. "Hard for me and I love it. Do you love it?"

"Uh huh," He groans.

"I want you to come for me, Jake." She says then sucks in his earlobe. "Explode for me, baby."

"Almost." Jake grunts.

Jessica feels him growing harder in her hand and realizes that's a sign that he's about to blow. She quickly grabs the napkins that she saved from dinner from her purse and gets them ready.

"Tell me when, Jake." She whispers to him.

"Soon." He sighs.

Her hand is a blur on his bare cock and she wishes that she could see it shoot but when the thought occurs to her that she'll have a lot more opportunities to see it, she smiles.

She rubs her thumb just under his crown again and feels him go rigid.

"Now!" He shouts.

She quickly covers the spurting head of his cock with the napkins.

"Wow!" she remarks when she feels him pumping a large load into them.

"Wow... is right." Jake says breathlessly.

The alarm on her phone beeps out an alert.

"Tuck him back in quick!" She tells him as she stuffs the full napkins back into her purse.

Jake complies and is zipping back up when the exit door opens up.

"That was close." Jake points out with a huge grin on his face.

"Yeah it was." Jessica agrees with a proud smile on hers.

As they're exiting the ride they pass the attendant who gives them a knowing smile.

"Come back anytime, you two." She smiles as they pass.

"We'll certainly try." Jessica answers a little confused.

Jake glances back at the panel where the attendant is seated and his face turns beet red.

The attendant giggles and gives him a wave. "You do that and thanks for the show, sweetie."

"Show?" Jessica asks.

The attendant leans back and points towards the control panel. Jessica blushes furiously when she sees the little monitor that shows the attendant the whole track as it rolls through the ride.
