"The freckly boy in my class. That was his dad out there, who said you went to the same gym. He drives Jason and his brother to school every morning."
"Do you think Mr and Mrs Sullivan were Christmas shopping tonight?" she asked casually.
"Oh, that lady wasn't Mrs Sullivan. Mrs Sullivan has dark hair. I know because she went to the museum with us last week and she told me all about how Mr Sullivan works with planes. That lady looked a lot like Charlotte Miller's mother."
Their conversation ended by the arrival of Terry, but they never got to order. Julia's waters broke and they headed to the hospital. On Christmas morning Julia was feeding the baby as her family opened their gifts. Terry put a necklace around her neck and kissed her.
"I knew," he whispered. "I knew, but you ended it before I'd had a chance to do anything about it. I'm not happy about it, but for what it's worth, I think it saved our marriage."
He kissed her again.

Are today’s generations of men are the male of the species, but are TOO WEAK, COWARDS, and so afraid of hurting feelings and/or pissing someone off! No wonder women want or need male partners that can actually benchpress 3times their body wait and a have a spaghetti noodle for a dick!
ErotFanalmost 3 years agoI am a Loving Wives story fan and I agree that this would fit easily into the Erotic Couplings category, as apparently so do you. But you tease us with the ending that this may have started as a LW tale by introducing the husband and his knowledge of the affair. Or that you were open to or intended a LW follow on,Epilogue.
An interesting revision of the story would be a parallel day by day, week by week exposition of the husbands becoming aware of the affair. Additional material could be added about what happens between them after the affair ends and how it "saved" the marriage. Plus the realization that she was just another easy conquest.
ALSO! Where in the world did the idea of a pregnancy come from? Who pressed for it? Wife as a means to assuage her guilt? Or hubby, in an attempt to reclaim his alpha male position?
