The Morrisons Ch. 23

I picked up my phone and asked Kelly to come into my office. When she was seated in front of my desk, I asked her if she knew a reliable person who could staff her desk for a couple of days. Kelly named a few people very quickly. After a moment I asked her to narrow her list down to the top two persons. Kelly thought about it for a few seconds before she named two people.

Beth returned to my office and told me Captain McGrath was going to calculate the departure time and get back to her. I, on the other hand, caught Beth up to date on my discussion with Kelly.

I had Kelly call the two candidates up to her office and have them wait to be interviewed. When they arrived, Kelly and Beth interviewed each one of them separately. For the next hour they asked the two perspective secretaries questions and I listened. When they were finished we talked about both candidates.

Finally curiosity got the better of Kelly and she asked, "Why are we interviewing secretaries as potentials to sit at my desk?"

I smiled saying with a huge grin, "I was wondering how long it was going to take you to ask that question. I'm amazed it took you so long."

"Kelly, Beth and I are going to be traveling more. The first trip is a four day tour of facilities for one of our suppliers. You did a fine job holding down the fort while we were in Germany so with Brenda Summers stepping down, I thought I would include you in a working weekend, if you want to go." I leaned back and watched for a reaction.

Kelly looked at me ... no ... Kelly glared at me with a ghastly look on her face. It seemed like a very long time before she closed her mouth, and mumbled, "Oh my God!"

Kelly's hands were visibly shaking as she held them up in front of her mouth asking, "Where are we going?"

Beth very quietly said, "I made reservations for us to have cottages on a secluded beach, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii."

A scream instantaneously echoed throughout the room, tears quickly filled Kelly's eyes and overflowed down her cheeks. Her body immediately began to shake as she looked at Beth in disbelief. "Do you really mean it? Am I really going to go to Hawaii with you?"

Beth looked at me and I nodded my head. Beth reached out and took one of Kelly's hands before she said, "Only if you want to. I mean we don't want to force you into anything you don't want to do."

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Kelly yelled, "Of course I want to go!"

"This is a working weekend Kelly; you'll have to take your lap top with you. You'll work with Beth and Brenda while we're gone. I want both of you to know learn everything Brenda can teach you." I said.

"I don't care; I will do whatever you want me to do. I told you when you hired me, I am a team player and whatever it takes to accomplish the job, I'm ready to do it." Kelly replied.

Well, first things first. Both of you have to put your heads together and find a couple of places where Taffy and Connie can answer the phone and do some light secretarial duties.

We heard a light knock on my door so Kelly got up to answer it. Taffy was at the door saying, "The delivery person from the suit shop is here and he wants to talk to Mr. Morrison."

Kelly turned and relayed the message. I smiled saying, "Please go out bring Taffy, Connie and the delivery person in."

Kelly was gone for a few seconds and when she returned we saw the young man had six clear plastic clothes bags over his shoulder. He walked in and I had Beth meet him and show him to my closet so he could hang them up. When he came out of the closet I greeted him and handed him a tip. He thanked me before Kelly walked him back to the outer office.

Taffy squealed saying, "I can't wait to see what my suit looks like on me."

Beth spoke up saying, "Girls please have a seat for a few minutes."

Once everyone was seated, I listened as Beth told both Taffy and Connie she wanted them to report to her first thing in the morning. She told them she would evaluate which department could use additional help and place them accordingly. Beth also told both young ladies she would team them up with a secretary in each department they could work with.

After answering all their questions Beth looked at me to see if I had anything more to add. I reminded Taffy and Connie to have their father's call and make an appointment to see me tomorrow and both assured me they would. Beth told both of them to take the rest of the afternoon off and get ready for work tomorrow. Beth finished by suggesting both of them wear a skirt with their suit on their first day of their new positions.

Taffy asked me, "Mr. Morrison, when I get ready to buy another suit or lingerie, would you consider going with me. I'm impressed that a male has such excellent tastes in lingerie. When I come to work tomorrow, I'd like to show you what I'm wearing before I start my duties. I don't mean just what everyone else is going to see either. Would that be alright with you?"

I thought about my answer before I said, "Today, I assisted you so you could advance. However I don't want either of you to feel I am taking advantage of my position as the "big boss," so to speak. I enjoyed today and both of you are very beautiful young ladies, I'd be delighted to assist either or both of you again."

"With both Kelly and Beth in the room to hear this I'll tell you, I enjoyed seeing both of you completely naked today. If at any time you choose to show me any part or all of your body, I will enjoy the view again with one stipulation I want you to know in advance."

Taffy curiously looked at me before she asked, "What might that be?"

"If you are in my office and you are less than fully dressed and someone comes to see me, there won't be any last second dash to get dressed or cover yourself in any way. What you are wearing or not wearing is the way you will remain, while that person is in my office. Also, you will not use your hands or cross your legs to hide any parts of your body." I said as I looked at all four women in my office.

Taffy giggled saying, "Oh, I thought we would have to do something special for you, like suck your cock or jerk you off, in front of whoever came into your office. Kelly sat listening to Taffy and Connie before she asked, "May I see what Mr. Morrison helped you select? I may want him to escort me on a shopping trip."

Both Taffy and Connie looked at Beth and saw her nod her head before they both jumped up and ran into my closet to retrieve their bags. When they came back, they were like a couple of young kids unwrapping presents; they only took one item out of the bag at a time and showed Kelly. Beth remarked, "You're panties will fit you better now, without those store panties you had to wear while trying your panties on."

"I hate to be a party pooper but I need to get some work down. I believe Beth gave you the rest of the afternoon off. We'll see you tomorrow morning."

While both Taffy and Connie were getting their suits out of my closet, I said, "Beth, please call the two guys who wanted to see me. Have the first one come right up to my office. Kelly when he arrives, please show him right on in."

All four women left my office at the same time and I had a couple of minutes to go to the bathroom and get settled before Kelly came back with my first appointment. We exchanged pleasantries while Beth got settled into a chair and ready to take notes.

I listened intently to his unsolicited prepared speech. When he paused to gather his thoughts I spoke up and informed him I will be creating a position in the near future and when I did, I'd hold interviews. He thanked me for my time and immediately stood up, shook my hand and left my office.

Kelly called me and asked if I was ready for the next person and I told her to send him in, in five minutes. Beth looked at me as I said, "When I came up through the company, I did my job and showed productivity in my department instead of trying to baffle the boss with bullshit. I want a person, male or female, who has a good working relationship with the people in their department and can show me what they can do, not tell me what they are capable of."

Kelly opened my door right on time and the next guy came in. After greeting each other we sat down and he immediately started his prepared pompous personal presentation. I endured his dialogue of "I" did this and that, for almost five minutes.

I finally stopped him by saying, "From what you're telling me, your department's productivity should be at its highest level, correct?"

He looked wide eyed at me followed quickly by him clearing his throat. As he opened his mouth to speak I said, "Ms. Thompson, would you please bring up the report for his department on the overhead?"

Beth stood up and walked over and plugged her laptop into the system and turned on the large monitor on the wall of my office. We watched as she expertly maneuvered through the system until she had the selected department up on the screen. Suddenly the color faded from the man's face when he saw his department's productivity was currently less than fifty percent. I looked at the numbers and then back at him saying, "This doesn't compare to what you were telling me. Let's take a walk down to your department, I want to talk to some of your key people and get an understanding of what's going on."

Suddenly the man started to sweat and he tried to talk me out of walking through his department. I looked at Beth and asked her, "Ms. Thompson, please bring your pad of paper and come with me."

I leaned toward Beth and whispered, "When I put my hands together in front of me while talking to someone, I want you to write that person's name down. I'll want to talk privately with them in my office."

For the next hour we walked through his department and I introduced myself to a number of people and asked many questions. I've always believed employees worked best when their supervisor took an interest in what they were doing. I chose a few administrative people from the department to talk to privately but I selected more employees who were not administrative. On the way back to our offices I said to Beth, "I have a funny feeling there's something more going on in that department than meets the eye. I'd like you to call each of those people on your list separately. I want you to leave enough time between appointments for each person to get back to their workplace before you have the next one come up to see me."

Beth asked, "When do you want to see the first one?"

"When we get back to our offices, call the first one on your list. Make sure you tell them not to say where they are going. I want you in my office when I talk to each one." I said.

My afternoon passed rather quickly and at the end of the day my phone rang and Kelly said, "Captain McGrath is on line one, for you."

I picked up my phone and greeted Bob saying, "Hello Bob, I'm anxious to learn when we can escape."

He replied, "I tried to call Beth's office but my call went right to her voice mail so I figured I'd try you even though I left a message for her."

"Beth is sitting in front of my desk as we speak, so I'll be very happy to relay the information to her."

"I've set a flight plan for our destination. Keep in mind, I can only do my part in the air and the ground transportation will be responsible for the rest. I understand you want to arrive around noon on Friday. Beth told me you are planning on sixteen or seventeen people counting Linda, Jen and Jerry along with me, Tom and Sam. Dan, with that many going, I'm suggesting we take the same plane we took to Germany. I can't fly that many people in the Lear."

"You're the captain; you choose which plane is best for our trips based on the information we provide to you. I'm not going to second guess you, ever!" I said.

Bob McGrath asked, "Is there anything special you want Jerry to fix for your meals?"

"I want to make this trip special for Tom and his family so tell Jerry to serve something that Tom likes." I added.

"Okay, are you ready for the departure time?" Bob asked.

"Go ahead tell me." I replied

"I want to have the wings supporting us no later than two o'clock in the morning. That means all of you should be onboard by one thirty at the latest." Bob McGrath said to me.

"I know it's an hour by land up to the resort and I know you have some responsibilities after we land so the question is, will that allow you to finish what you need to do so you and your crew be on the same bus with us?" I responded.

"Ok let's say, be in the plane at one o'clock. All of you can sleep on the way so you'll be refreshed and ready to play when we land. I'll make hangar arrangements for my plane and we'll forgo any cabin cleaning until we get back. The only thing I'll have to do is have the septic tank emptied. I don't want that to sit in the heat for any length of time. I'll also make arrangements for our plane to be refueled on Monday before we arrive back at the airport." Bob replied.

"Ok, I'll tell Tom Banks the car will have to have him and his family at the company hangar and on the plane by one o'clock Friday morning." I responded.

I hung up the phone and called Tom Banks. When he answered, I filled him in on all the details as I knew them. I told him a car will be sent to his house to pick up him and his family and I'd have the driver call him to set up the pickup time. I also informed him I'd send a company van for their bags. Tom thanked me many times before I was finally able to get him off the phone.

I was talking to Beth when my phone rang. Kelly told me Joe Bailey was in her office saying I wanted to see him. I told her to send Joe right in. There was a knock on the door before it opened and Joe walked in. I stood up and greeted him with a handshake. Beth stood and asked him if he wanted anything to drink. Joe declined so I invited him to have a seat.

"Joe I had you come up to see me here so we can sit face to face and talk because I don't want to bother you when you're driving."

Joe smiled, "Yes sir. I'm at your service."

"Actually Joe, I don't want you to think of it quite that way. I want you to understand we are all part of a team and everyone has their own expertise. I want you to work with me more than working for me. I'm a firm believer in the team approach. Our goal is to make this company grow and prosper."

Joe looked at me before saying, "You sure are a different kind of boss. I think I'll enjoy being your chauffeur."

I got right down to business and told Joe about our upcoming trip. I let him know everyone had to be at the company's airport hangar no later than one o'clock on Friday morning. I asked Joe to schedule two limos and two vans for luggage. I informed him the driver needed to call Tom and give him a pick up time and that there would be six people to pick up.

Joe did the calculations in his head and told me he'd be at my house at midnight to pick up my family. I informed him there will be five at my house to pick up including Kelly. He told me he'd take care of all the coordination and have us all at the airport on time.

"When we were at lunch, you mentioned you signed a non-disclosure/confidentiality statement as part of your job description. You were with me today, which wasn't a normal day, but you saw three young ladies naked. One of those young ladies is my secretary Beth Thompson and that's the reason for this meeting."

"Joe, I'm sure you'll agree with me, Beth is a very beautiful young woman both in and out of her clothes." I said.

Beth looked at Joe and said, "If I'm not going to cause you to wreck the car, you can put the divider down and look back at me once in a while. As Dan said, I love to show others my naked body."

I thanked Joe for coming to my office. I told him we'd be ready to leave in a few minutes, after I took care of a couple last minute items.

As Joe was leaving I asked him to have Kelly come into my office. When she did, I asked her to have a seat. I began by saying, "Kelly we're going to have to leave my house early in the morning, actually a little after midnight for our trip. I would like to suggest you bring your suitcase with you, when you come to work tomorrow. That way you can come to my house and we will be in one place when Joe comes to pick us up."

Kelly smiled at me saying, "I feel so thankful you are taking me along with you so, yes, I'll bring my suitcase with me tomorrow. What will I do with my car for the few days we'll be gone? I'd rather not leave it in the parking lot here at work."

"After work tomorrow you can drive out to my house and your car will be fine parked there while we're gone." I replied.

"How is it going in the search for someone to fill in for Kelly?" I inquired

Beth spoke up saying, "I believe we have the right person and she will be with Kelly all day tomorrow. I've instructed Kelly to let her answer calls and follow her around when she has to do something away from her desk. Dan, she was the runner-up when we hired Kelly. I believe she will work out just fine."

I told Kelly we would be leaving in a few minutes. I asked Beth to gather anything she was taking home with her and come back to my office. After Beth was out of the room Kelly thanked me once again for including her on the trip. I told her there may be some other trips she may be called upon to take so it might not be a bad idea to keep a half packed suitcase so it wouldn't take her to long to pack.

"Yes Sir Dan, I can do that. I'll be ready anytime you ask me." Kelly said excitedly.

"That's good to hear. There's a great possibility that I might call upon you to travel and you might not have much notice." I said.

Beth came back with her lap top and announced, "I'm ready to go."

I stood up and the three of us walked out of the office. Kelly locked my door once all of us were in her outer office.

Beth and I took the elevator down to the first floor and walked out of the building to find Joe ready to open the door for us, I let Beth climb in first. I reminded Joe we needed to go to Kim's office building and pick her up and he confirmed he remembered.

Kim was waiting just inside her building and by the time Joe parked and walked around to the back door, Kim was standing waiting for him. Kim leaned down and started to get into the car when she paused and looked at Beth. Beth was only wearing her thigh highs, Kate Spade satin pumps and a huge smile. Kim smiled and said, "Oh girlfriend, you sure know how to brighten up my day."

Smiling coyly Beth replied, "Hurry up sweetheart; I've got plans for you on the way home."

Kim leaned over and kissed me before she chose the seat beside Beth. There was a flurry of movement as Kim tried to undress at the same time Beth stripped her.
