Click hereAfter we made our goodbyes to my parents, I held Dex's hand on the way to the car. He kissed me after opening the door for me.
"Is this happening too fast, Dex?" I asked hugging him tightly.
"I don't think so, Mel. You've brought feelings out of me that I forgot I had. Something magical happened the other night. We both felt it, whatever it was and if it were up to me, I'd never let you go."
I hugged him harder.
"Dex, I'm falling in love with you. Please don't hurt me."
He laughed. I was being sensitive and tender opening my heart to him, and he laughed.
"Melissa, I'm falling for you too. I'll never hurt you. I can promise you that."
I relaxed, "Merry Christmas, Dexter."
"Merry Christmas and a happy future, Melissa."
You have a delightfull way of leaving short that the reader can just use their own imagination for the rest of the story. Thank you.
