The "foreplay" of this chapter is great. And Astarte's comment about "jealous" opens up even more of my interest in where you are planning to go with this story. I can see that you are planning on at least one more chapter, but to be honest, I would like more chapters, as all of the possibilities that you have already laid the ground work for, can't be written is only one chapter unless it is a REAL long one. Great story. One thing I noted was that the mother skipped Deon's 18th birthday, but did everything she could to be there for Sally's. Could be unavoidable circumstances or could be an underlying, and unexplored, issue. If the later, it would be interesting to explore.
