Oh how lovley. I loved the imagery here. Just makes ya want to sit an watch that all day. Wonderful poem. Just took root and grew healthy and sweet.

One that does not have a garden can in their minds eye live this flower's birth.. Rejoicing in it.. Even rejoicing at the end because for one bright moment it brought beauty into one's life.

The pleated petals fold under and shrink away

The flow was nice. Your words are beautiful. I really think these lines were my favorite but I enjoyed the whole thing:)

A gentle telling of the moves of a light-sensitive flower.

How like a life is a flower. It appears only for a little while then vanishes away like a vapor from a teakettle leaving only the minds memory ~ to recall. Lovely!
