Nice stuff

I like this, especially the second line:

'sporting warning sounding to all it's prey

soaring scout on a high thermal swift wave'

I have an American Bald Eagle that has my back yard as part of its territory.

you placed the reader in the scene.....

by such evocative writing. I don't think the its and flys require apostrophes??

You know my fears of birds..

I wanted to duck my head. What a descriptive and beautiful scene for the minds eye.Soaring birds demand respect their strength in their wings.

Thank you for this birds eye view...

Kudo's my dear friend...

Wild and free...

Art, I just love this poem! I'm very partial to the redtails we have around here, and if I didn't hear them every day, I would just about be lost. Absolutely lovely images!

One of Art's specialities ~ a nature scene

Done so well here I can almost hear the hawk's call.

soaring

There is nothing quite so majestic as the sight of a hawk flying high in the heavens. This Poet has captured the wildness of the mountains and plains as well.
