Your poem has been mentioned in the new Poems review for Tuesday 1st of February. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I know this person -- and her cousin. Exceptional! ~Imp
Last high compliment I gave got deleted. So here, I'll just say that if this and a few other of your poems I've read were in a book, I'd buy the book. Hell, I'd borrow money to buy the book...
How did you get into my head? I have tried so many times to put just these thoughts into words. If I knew how to delete some of my fav's you'd go to the top of the list with this one! Thanks!
empty space you filled with something exceptional. Great stuff.
you cut to the heart. It's strange how the most cryptic and personal things speak to the most people. I love that I was lucky enough to read this. - j
A little private monologue
Displayed for all the world to see
Of all your observations
With rose-tinted glasses set aside.
Fast talker ~ this guy's not hep ~ he's hip - to a lot of people, places and things. Long monologue fun to read! Glad I found this one!
I think I've lived this poem. Success in life seems to have less to do with talent than with motivation, although I guess you could call motivation a talent in and of itself. Wandering through life with knowledge and no focus only seems to work if your last name is Kerouac. A well deserved 5!

Like most monologues, it's got its high points and its problems. But, it has a nice rhythm, and a message all too many self-styled slacker poets can identify with, I suspect. A solid effort, even if it ultimately comes off more glib than searching.
If only there had been an empty space on the server where this...whatever it is...was posted. </p>
