It's not clear whether this means physically remote or emotionally remote. In reading it, it seems to work either way. I think it's more powerful with emotionally remote!

Sort of a "I only miss her when I think of her" ~ holding that endearing thought brings comfort. Lovely pastel illustration compliments this rendering.
