no longer feeling pain.
She's accepted her fate,
and left her heart to blame.
Her hand sits on her stomach,
lies still and cold to touch.
Her fingers rest in quiet
no longer missing much.
She lies there still; not moving,
peace settled on her face.
The hurt of pain is over,
no longer seeking grace.
Her heart no longer beating,
the hands of time have ceased.
She's given up on everything,
searched for a sweet release.
The pain it was so deep,
this time the wounds won't heal.
The pain it took her over,
and no longer can she feel.
Alone and lost and weary,
no longer caring now.
The creases of her sorrow,
are smooth along her brow.
She rests there in the silk,
the linen and the lace.
As tears stream down the loved one's,
sorrow, hurt filled face.
I like the flow and the way this read, The touching words that I feel from reading this, leaves my mind....no longer there <grin>
