Yep, I still have to deal with fools telling me I'm not acting my age. I do so wish that ppl would just try to understand that if our histories past is so important to our society, then our own past is very important that we as well keep our childhood close to our hearts. I love how you give reference to cheer in childhood and drudgery in adult meddling. Very good and emotional poem.

I've always subscribed to the theory I'd rather get old than 'grow up'.
