and I loved the surreal images and wordplay, especially that list of poetry terms. That worked really well, I thought. The prose and "telling" really dragged the poem down though. The basic idea is so good though if you were to edit it, maybe even number the "facts," and stick to those strange images and fun wordplay, you'd have a really spectacular poem imho.

It felt awkward and fun and silly all at the same time. Some of what was splashed into the poem actually made sense but I am not sure if in this poem it was even important (making too much sense that is). So you demonstrated in the poem about writing poems the kind of poems which were to most likely come out of this semi nonsense prescription for poems writing!
