According to m-w.com, both "focused" and "focussed" are acceptable spellings, though I personally prefer the former. Microsoft Word seems to disagree, though.

Anyway, enjoyed the poem.

In the UK the correct spelling is focussed. We like our consonants rather more than many do in the USA. Smiles sweetly and obliviously in the general direction of the anonymous one. Thank you for your interest nonetheless. S.O.
