"headlight hypnotised
in the origo
of an anacrusis"
I have no idea what this means but I love how it sounds.
Beautiful poem, no lie.
If I'm not mistaken, that should be the distance range in which you can hear/record a sound. (A soundproof room has a short anacrusis, outdoors in free sight has a long one).
BTW, I agree, this is bleeding beautuful.

I thought I was the only one with a 150% perfect still moment like that stored away in my memory. You captured it so perfect.
I come so late to the new poems, almost as they get shunted aside for yet more, but this is such a lovely piece I read it aloud. I felt the "still"ness.
I look forward with real anticipation to your poem submissions and this is a perfect example why. You write with such a balance of precision and delicacy. It gives your poems an ethereal clarity that few achieve.
between a blink
and a breath
four seconds
of clamour absolution
I can feel the still in this poem and hold my breath not to disturb it.
