I loved all the word choices but that last stanza made my chest tighten with the same sense of wonder you describe.

Gorgeous little poem. I fell in love with it. It's deeply erotic without being explicit, and that's not easy to do. Also, I love the title. To me, the word 'tempest' just stirs up images of Shakespearean romance. You should post more poetry!
