I WROTE IT BUT LOVED IT

The Other Side Of the Rabbit's Hole is just one depiction of society's blind eye to corruption and prostitution that happens everyday on the streets around the world to young beautiful souls both young men and young girls everyday looking for some type of escape. Yet we society fail them. I absolutely love this poem and hope it does have an impact for these young souls.

out of sight out of mind

I enjoyed it. Remedying madness with further madness it is a very sardonic poem with a hard look at deep societal failings. The decadently volatile rhythm and prose of this poem, is befitting of the instantaneous feelings of dejection and abandonment, callous indifference to human well-being, and protective numbing of drugs one can't conceive living without if you've endured sexual abuse and then prostitution first hand; reflected upon by our young female casualty with wretchedly erotic elan. Thus it is both an exasperation uttered by the poet but also by the all too real referent(s).

Works as a poem...

...but even better as a rap in my head, very good, liked this a lot and I intend to revisit and read again a few more times
