from the start. it leaves me pondering in many elements in the construction of the poem. very poignant in its presentation to the reader......nicely done......don

Wonderful words, images, and metaphor. I like the simple truth

"because a man is no a man

who never

built

a house,"

maybe the same should be said more directly about a poem.

I do think the poem might end without the final four lines, but that is just me. ;)
