Not my religion. Not my holiday. But my kind of story.
Beautifully done!!! BRAVO!!!
A trully romantic story. I just loved every bit of it. There really wasn't alot of hot sex but the emotions were enough to make this a great story.
Great work, but it brought tears to my eyes. It looks like my wife and I will be facing a similar situation next Christmas. Our son's Army NG unit is being deployed in March and they leave for a year in Iraq in June. I can only pray that this madness will be over by then, but I'm not optimistic. We're going to try to make this holiday season as good as we possibly can, because we can't know what the future will bring.
I loved it. Brings tears to an old mans eyes. Thank you for writing it. ...and they lived happily ever after.
Highest regards

That was a bit of a tear-jerker. Wonderful!
Having faith always works out!
I wish all you wrote could be true for all of the many families who feel the pain in their heart, of that special person missing. The love they want to give by looking in their eyes and pressing themselves to them. A very well done story thank you. <P>PT
And special Story I have ever read I hope our Boys come home Soon to there families for Christmas.
Thank you MagicaPractica that was so great to read.
... written with so much heart. Both important and tender -- thanks so much for writing! L8.
I so identify with this heroine. My husband is retired from the National Guard. I am so glad he came home to me and our sons. This is one of the most tender and loving stories I've read.
Well done, enjoyable tale recounting both the heartache and happiness that can come with Christmas.
This is the 1st lit story to ever make me cry! As the wife of a deployed soldier myself this one touched my heart. My soldier won't be home for Christmas, but we'll be together in our dreams! Your story was a wonderful and touching tribute to our military and their spouses! Thank You!!!
Thank you so much.. Crying like a baby and missing my soldier even more! We wont be together over Christmas but Easter he's all mine..
crying my eyes out, not for one of my own but for friends..I think I'll have to add you to my authors list
Incredibly touching. It was a wonderful reminder of what's really important; family.
I have recently retired from the military and have long said that the heroes in this country are the spouses, children and other family members that support us in what we do. Most people do not understand that the families serve in the military as much as those of us that wear the uniform. Thank You
I haven't cried like that in a while. Thank you for something like that. People remember to think of our military members overseas, but forget about all the family members left alone during deployments. My boyfriend and I are both military and are deploying at opposite times and will spend a lengthy amount of time apart, so this story hit home. That one meant a lot to me.
Way to go on winning the Holiday Contest! Excellent entry, brought a tear to my eye!
This is the hope of every wife or husband who is waiting for the spouse serving overseas to come home. Not only was the story line good but also the sexual union that happened between Naomi and Ben was sweet, tender and romantic. The writer didn't need to use the sexy slang words we readers like to read; the way she described it would make even the most prudent person hot with desire.
I really loved this story, my boyfriend is over in iraq right now and won't be home for christmas but after the new year he is mine...
Wonderful sweet poignant story. Revived old memories experienced long ago. Beautifully Written!
From a military Spouse left home this year while her husband is away, it brough wonderful tears to my eyes. You captured what it feels like to want him home so badly. Arousing, tender and real. Thank you.
Wonderful story! It gave me goosebumps and it is very deserving of the win!!!!
Oh my! I loved it! It made me cry, but it was because of the beauty of it all.
Marvelous one. Its really very sensual and has the touch of healthy love. Really deserves what it got...
As the wife of a disabled vet my heart and wishes go out to all the spouses keeping the home fires burning this season. Stay strong and know you are supported in all you do.
Thankyou for your story, I am an old man, I have lost my dad in another war, almost forgotten.
Yes I cried, thinking of all the lives wasted so
callously, for what ?
Thinking of all the dads out there, longing to be at home, with their loved ones. I could go on, but you get my drift.
Thankyou again.
My husband is Navy and gone this Christmas too (and the last one!)... I just can't seem to get into the spirit except to keep the kids happy (3 and 4 years old). It's nice to read about this so I know it isn't just me suffering.
This is the true spirit of Christmas. I loved the way you included the song lyrics, it really added extra depth to the story.
This was so lovely to read. It made me cry but it conveys the spirit of the holiday.
Thanks for sharing this.
Absolutely beautiful, heartwarming, touching - a delightful story.
I was lost in the whole story of Christmas in the States that I forgot I was in Literotica...! Great story, gentle sex & a nice kicker a the end. Merry Christmas & a Very Happy New Year. xx Sam
Very sweet story. I am so happy my husband will be home in time for the holidays!
i cried all through it. the story seems so familiar you definately captured an army wife's trouble. i couldn't stop crying. there's so much pain and people don't really understand. but you got it. thank you so much i hope everyone reads this
A beautiful story, and it brings back so many memories. been there, done that. Fifty two years ago my wife pregnant with our fist child was looking at spending Christmas alone and probably the birth of our son as well. I was a soldier, stuck in East Africa. Fortunately I got a flight home and 26 hours before Christmas Day. I walked in to a home I had never seen, to a wife I treasured then and still do. Christmas 1958 was without a doubt the most memorable Christmas of my life. You see happy stories do happen
This story is absolutely adorable and out of the hundreds of works I've read on here, this is still one of my favorites.
That was such a touching story! Makes me miss the soldier I lost in this horrible war! Thanks for writing that story! Makes me believe in miracles again.
Most of the stories on here make me feel well putting it bluntly horny but this one made me cry. I have tears rolling down my cheek once I read the last line.
This was well done MP. A very warm smooth story, it read as if it came from a very real place. Good imagery, bravo!
Oh, if you are wondering, I gave you 5-STARS for this wonderful story. Retired Army NCO
Thank You for honoring those left behind. I had to do it deployed at least 4 times with no Christmas at home. My little sweetie did wait for me and now we are together for 38+ years...
What a beautifully sweet and loving story! So well told...felt like I was there feeling like she was feeling...could feel the love she had for her daughters and her husband Ben!
I'm in my 50's now but I remember some of these. My dad did 30 years in the army.
The comments from "Overcritical" seem a little out of place. These authors do not need derogatory remarks for the works they produce for the enjoyment of others. Some stories are good, some great, some not so good, but they are all given freely. Why deride a story, if you don't like it, go read something else. For me, I thought the tale was not the best I have read, but definitely not the worst. Maybe a little more about the characters would have helped , but I'm no literary critic, just know what I like
As a retired service member I can remember many Christmas when I was not at home with my family. These were very sad times but I did get to share the holidays with others just like myself. Not the same but the command did try to make it a festive as possible with great dinners and time off in what ever port we happen to be in.
