I don’t understand why voters don’t rate your stories higher. This is an interesting tale with plenty of possibilities for a sequel or sequels. I didn’t have a problem sticking with it to the end.👍

My thought is--and this may be heresy--writers upvote their own stories. I never rate my own stories. Thus, I have to depend on others and their evaluations. I am flattered when I get reviews like yours,and of course when people "favorite"my stories for what I assume is future onanism...I wrote "A Domme at the Colfax Inn" after binge-watching "Newhart" a Bob Newhart show about a Vermont Inn that was popular in the mid 80s.

You have a talent for a short humorous story. Reminds me of a 1950's bumbling male with a ever wise women humoring and punnishing a sexual dolt.
