You're right, I should have expanded on what Carter finds appealing about Tyler. Carter has known Tyler for three years and has done everything he could to situate himself near him, but you can never truly know someone from a distance. I didn't go into specifics because I thought it would naturally bring the reader to that conclusion. He thinks he knows Tyler, and is in love with who he thinks Tyler is. But is the Tyler he thinks he knows the real Tyler? And does he just stop loving him when that illusion is shattered? I clearly failed. Sorry.

I personally think you were pretty clear with where you were going with that. It's that high school infatuation that has no basis except for the person thinking they're hot. You paint up a picture of them in your head, holding them on a pedestal, and then more often than not they end up not being the angel you thought they were. It's more of an obsessive crush than "love" I think, but for someone in Carter's position I can understand why he acts that way. I know you didn't exactly spell it out clear as day, but it can be inferred.

i read these stories for what they are , fantasy fodder, i love a gay romance and i love man on man sex. but really it is just to relax while reading . yes i get hard while reading but dont touch my self . i just read a distraction from life it:s self. i dont get why people make comments about a writer in a not so flattering manner . just enjoy keep your comments polite .because this site is lacking in good stories like this . full stars for this story . dear writer keep up the good work . jonathan from england xxx
