Three chapters and a great story is getting better.

...and beginning to dig. "if he doesn't smell sex on me..." Really? So world class drug dealers are sniffing out their counterparts and kill them if they don't reek of sex? What a load of crap.

The monologues in the scene with the sultan and harrow was way too long, nodded off .... Do other characters get any decent dialogue ?

However, the most of the other scenes were more carefully crafted than those in ch 2. (or has my bar of expectations just been lowered enough?)

Still, missing that upside magic from ch1, though.
