It is an example that even in an open marriage, problems can occur. Even though she had liberties to have sexual adventures, she wanted to do something for herself (SELFISH). The husband had a lucky break, but they have to be careful in the future.

This was not about a little excitement. She was so upset that if Tony wasn't gay it could have turned into an affair.

Anyway the author was unique in his approach. That made the story a good read.

It's hard to write about a conversation, interspersing the thoughts of one of the participants. You pulled this off rather masterly!! A very well written story that resonates in the memory long after you have read it!

The anti wimp patrol would dump on the hero but I enjoyed it.

I admit that what was said did not justify the three or four days of sufferent that he went through.

. . . and though we all aim for that when we write stories, we don't always get there. I loved the conversations between husband and wife; so believably disjointed.

Far too many times couples let distance creep in.

It is a bad idea for spouses to go to holiday parties alone. To things happen with drinks that don't have a spouse to help us stay intact. This story ends well but shows the potential of a broken household.
