A nicely done story of the supernatural. I didn't have a clue as to what was going on until he saw her father's picture hanging on the wall. I would likw to see more of this story but it is a stand alone story. I hope you continue to write stories like this. Keep up the good work. Loved the way you developed the story line, I was clueless as to what really happened right up untill the end... It was a moving and really believable story... I hope that the rest of your stories are as well written, I'm off to read some more of your stories to find out... So many of the stories that you read on here are nothing but wham, bam, thank you Ma'am... But yours actually had a story to it... I absolutely loved it...

even if it is twisted

What a twist.. I really did not see that coming at all, no joke. It's a very well written story, that actually kept me interested, which I can only say about two other storys I've read in all my life, this was a joy to read.

Very interesting twist thrown in at the end; well telegraphed without completely being given away. The early part with Brenda seemed a bit long but it makes sense as it was a defining aspect of the main character.

I thought it was very well constructed. By the time he saw the picture of the father, I'd forgotten that this was in the "supernatural" category. I thought the man in the picture was actually HIS father, and that Clara was his half-sister.
