I shared my surgery schedule and she asked how Lynn and Bill had handled my change. I spoke of the new relationships with Avery and Madison. I didn't divulge that I was falling for three different women but I did say I was happy to be meeting new friends. I withheld the fact of a new male in my life too.

"That's exciting Sara. My boy became a woman and I missed witnessing it. I'm so happy because I can hear it in your tone Sara. You're happy with this, therefore so am I."

Her support was making me a little emotional, "There are minor issues to be dealt with but the paperwork is settled. Even my mortgage has been revised. Now I wish I could have my surgery sooner."

There was a curiosity in her tone as she asked, "Can you tell me if you've decided you might like men? Or is Sara still in love with every woman she meets?"

I wondered aloud if that was a good characterization, "Was I like that early on Mom?"

She said that before I was eight or nine years old I only enjoyed playing with the neighborhood girls. Today showed me that something had changed for this girl seemed to like boys as well.

"You had boys that were friends but the girls could easily pull you into their world, Sara. I think your name is settling into my mind now honey."

I considered Jenn and as she continued talking I was certain that was still correct. If she suddenly appeared I would consume Jenn. I was strongly attracted to girls, to that girl.

We spoke for nearly an hour and she realized that technology could help her, "Can you send me a picture like you sent to Lynn. I love that part of your story Sara. I'd wished I could have seen that bitch's face when the picture flashed on her phone."

She didn't care for Lynn when they met last year.

I'd went to the wardrobe and put on my wig.

A minute later she swooned, "I think the wig looks quite good. You need to watch how much weight you've drop Sara. It may feel good to be thin but it isn't a sign of good health. Besides that I love my new daughter!"

She pause, it sounded as if she might have been weeping.

"Are you really fine with all of this Mom? I mean are you really in my corner on this, or are you just being fair and nice?"

She was crying softly, "I'm fine and I do love the decisions you've made. I just wish you'd let me visit for a few days. I'll get a hotel room so your schedule and new life won't be controlled by my being there."

I considered this but asked her, "Can you give me a day or two Mom? And how do you suggest I break the news to my father?"

She was ready for the question, "I'll speak with him Sara but I want some better pictures of you. Please send me several in the morning when the light is better. Something that shows how unequivocally your decision is. He must realize in a moment that you're a woman. Is that sensible to you Sara?"

I thought for a second, "That's a really good suggestion and attitude and I thank you for thinking of me Mom. I'll call you tomorrow OK?"

She told me she was proud of her new daughter and that she would always love me.

I slept a lot better that night. I had a new friend and a mother to support my new life as a woman. I would get her a plane ticket tomorrow.

Must Admit That I've Been...

...Vacillating on this story, sometimes its so real and I can jump right into it, other times its just a little 'off'. Perhaps that its trying for a couple different goals? Seems it's a Bio, but it also has an analytic quality. The Doctor's interactions had me feeling like it was trying for more, I would like to have seen Sara's life pulled back into focus, she touched on a couple areas, but wow... this is how Doctor's are treating their Adult GD patients today? Gulp... well, not a conversation for here. Sara seems to be lucky in that she could jump into her female self without the help of estrogen and HRT, now to also have a Mom so easily transitioned along with her new daughter... is that a 'wee' bit of jealousy I'm feelin? A couple chapters back, the male friend being freaked out by the changes? That was great, as I hated ending up in some old watering hole (restaurant/bar)... for work and other reasons you do... and then running into friends that you knew from kindergarten. You want to talk to them, and typically it would happen waiting in line for a table, you spot them in line and they are staring... then you hear "<Male Name>... is that..." and your empty stomach starts twisting around... and its DAMNED hard to run in heels... as if that would help. So you turn and deal with them, guide them someplace, anyplace away from where everyone overhears you explain your transition history <sigh>...

I think a lot of the story I might have expected to happen towards the end was shown early on, and now a lot of what I would have expected to see in the beginning is just now popping up. Trying to go with it, because it has so many great parts, learning and/or trying to learn how to deal with her BDSM needs has been enlightening. It fits with many other Bi TSs I've met over the years, it really is an interesting read, and its been a welcoming story for me, thanks for sharing it. Always 5* Cheers! --- Josie
